I've been visiting this site for years, but until now have never posted. I've been a fan since the late 80's (since the days of SportsChannel, for those of you that remember). Since the Carolina debacle, I've had a hard time getting emotionally committed to this team again. I think for me that was the roughest loss since the Stanley Cup finals in '01. Acquiring Kovalchuk has totally re-energized me. Seeing him in a Devils jersey last night was incredibly exciting!
So anyways, just wanted to say hello to all of my fellow Devils fans. I don't see many of you where I live in Connecticut.
I'm so pumped for tonight!
