2-0 blu blanc et rouge.

Pronger coughs up a Mottau-esque defensive zone turnover that ends up in the cheese steak net.

That WAS very Mottauish, wasn't it?

Between watching Mottau and White as well as LeTang and Gologoski via my Pittsburgh fan roomate I feel I've become an expert at judging point values when it comes to defensive zone turnovers. :doh1:

TG tweeted that his blog is not working.

Yeah, noticed that on HFBoards, but I wasn't following his Twitter feed. Link, please, for the ignorant? TIA! OK, found it myself. Thanks! Sorry for the bother!

5-1 Habs Final.

Game probably should have ended 8-1. Of course the Flyers gooned the hell out of the game at the end.

That was thoroughly amusing and entertainng, unlike most recent playoff games involving the Orange Douchebag Brigade.

Orange Douchebag Brigade.

:giggle:

We've now got the Broadway Blowhards, the Orange Douchebag Brigade. Can you think of something as appropriate for that team from the Rust City ?

No, I can't. I just use ODB for short.

Typical f---ing Versus. You have a GEM in the tradition in the singing of the National Anthem in Chicago. So you show both teams take the ice with the crowd going nuts then cut away to commercial while the anthem is sung.

Justice for Chicago.

SJ PPG waived off after replay clearly showed Pavelski kicked it in. PP came via a brutal goalie interference call made my McCreary.

And it's the Patty Marleau show again. Guess taking the "C" away took some weight off his chest.

1-1 going to the 3rd.

Niemmi looks on while Nabby looks like every save he's made tonight was pure luck.

Well, San Jose has been given every chance to win this game. If they don't score on this PP, they may be in trouble.

Well that was a horrible goal given up by Nabby. He will have some nightmares about that one.

Well that was poetic justice for Chicago.
Rob Blake lollygags on the way for the puck and a rookie ref falls for it and an icing is called. The Sharks score off the resulting faceoff and tie the game 2-2.

But try as they might the striped stump's ploy failed as Big Bad Buf scores to win the game 3-2 in OT for the Blackhawks.

Terrible officiating in this game against the Hawks, Sharks were diving all over the place and these rookie refs were falling for it.

The Madhouse now has a 3-0 series lead. This could very easily be a sweep, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

Well that was a horrible goal given up by Nabby. He will have some nightmares about that one.

It was the pass that beat him SH, before he knew where the puck was it was in the net, he had no chance.

Yes, it was hardly Nabakov's fault. It's almost never a goalie's fault when a player is given the chance to take an open one-timer from point-blank range.

Before the negative nancy's come spiling out going "MADDEN TOLD YA SO WE SHOULDA RESIGNED HIM" - let us not forget he pulled many hissyfits when he was taken off being the shutdown centerman. He's not doing that in Chicago, and is on their fourth line getting 10 minutes of Even Strength TOI....

He wouldn't have signed here to do that.

Happy for John, nice to see him play in the big dance once again.

Just to add to that, Madden has one point in the playoffs and seems to be a non-factor outside of faceoffs and secondary penalty killing

Pay homage to the INCREDIBLE scoring goalie!!!! :-)

I saw CRASHER trip a kid on skates and then he stole the kids lunch money and slapped his mom when she came to pick him up.. All because the kid looked at his crease

CRASHER's official list of high stick victims from this forum:
