Dude maybe if you and Parise stopped going to the Jersey Shore to blow guys....he might have some energy to do something in the playoffs...how can you feel bad for a loser who never steps up in the playoffs.
He will be crying once again on Thursday like losing to Team Canada gold medal.
I quote you
That was NOT NJ style hockey.. good hard fought win but please do not play like that again.. 8 pp for phily ??? are you trying to give the game away? I wasnt impressed with the play tonight, more like run'n'gun type hockey not what NJ plays. hell of a game by ZP.
Ride the train.

You don't turn this around in a couple shifts. Its going to take a little time, but I know the guys will come back. Because I can see it. -- Jacques Lemaire

Rolston had a better game than Parise. I cannot believe the words I just typed ... but Rolston had a better game than Parise.
I disagree. I just can't pick on Zach. He is clearly paying the price out there, drawing penalties and making things happen. The results are poor (no goals), but I thought he was pretty good.

We played well enough to win even though we lost.
apparently he started drinking early. other than Zubrus and Kovalchuk, I don't think we had a scoring chance inside 40 feet.
is there any way to fire this clown before we play again? I mean, technically Lowell could go home on Wednesday, get a plane to bring in Johnny Mac Thursday morning

OMG, thanks for that really bad/awkward visual. In any case, I disagree... I don't think Parise is lacking energy. He's been anything but lazy in these playoffs, but he's just being stifled by the Flyers really well.

I have not heard anyone in the media mention Langs name once this whole series. Are they laying off him because they know something we don't? Seems odd.I sincerely hope Zach gets the "C" next year. So much heart, and so much of what this team needs... Jamie is not cut out for the role of a leader. My lasting memory of this game will be Carter's goal, and seeing Jamie reaching his stick out while his feet are cemented into the ice. A "real" Captain gets in front of that shot or at least keeps Carter from walking out front.
It's not all his fault, but it starts there.
Where was our heart this series?

Maybe... It seems plausible that he's hurt, but then why is JL putting him out there so much?
I mentioned it earlier, but I really think Elias is sick again - I give him a pass because of the Hep issue. He seems to go in streaks, but I would never question his heart. I used to really think Jamie had the same heart, but I just don't see it.
Zach established himself as a leader this year. This is a good thing, imo.

maybe they WILL come back and win it -- some team did that when they were down 1-3 to the Flyers right? Who did that?
That's like comparing last year's Mets to the '69 Mets.

Then again, he was injured in the Carolina series last year, came back and played gutsy. Now he seems vacant, almost pouty.
