This has "the hand of Lou" written all over it. So begins the long coaching search and the decreasing likelihood that Kovalchuk remains a Devil.
having lemaire return as coach probably hurt our chances of keeping kovulchuk. lou won't be able t sign him anyway, he was rental (the fallen messiah)

I really don't think Johnny Mac is ready. He coached 1 flipping season as head coach.
I say Mac for 1 more year in Lowell and Lou coach this year.

I don't think it helps, Kovy had nothing but great things to say about JL. That said, Kovy is waiting until July 1st anyway so I don't think it matters.So does this have an effect in Kovy returning?

Jacques, you were great in 1995 and thanks for that, but your time is up. You failed last year when it mattered most. You had to pay.
I don't think Kovy stays. If he does, it'd be great to see a more offensive-minded coach, but I don't know. We'll just see what transpires.
