The Caps just resigned Backstrom for 6.9 per year for 10 years. If that could be used as a comparable for a new Kovy contract, I would be happy.Interesting article, I like the quote about Kovalchuk as I would like to see him resigned.

I think we could get Kovie for 7mil per, but he'd probably have the last say in how many years he gets.The Caps just resigned Backstrom for 6.9 per year for 10 years. If that could be used as a comparable for a new Kovy contract, I would be happy.
