Feeling tense. Flyers can't win this, it'd be horrible here.

Sharp all the way on a 2x1 beats Leighton over the glove.

Chicago is getting screwed over by the refs. Not for what's being called against them. Instead its for the bloody murder Philly is getting away with. Not to mention twice either McCreary or O'Halloran got in the way of a Blackhawks player trying to rush in on net.

4-3 Philadelphia

Betts roofs a snap shot. Neime was off his angle bad plus 2 Hawks got caught on the side boards.

5-4 Brouwer from another sick feed from Hossa.

Exit Leighton.

Enter Boucher.

5-5

Asham on a 1-timer after Hossa (whose had a brilliant game to this point) has a Gomez-esque turnover just inside the offensive blueline. Philly rush leading to Chicago running around and its in the net.

Go through the Flyer games this postseason and see what they've done at the end of periods. It's frightening.

Chicago has scored 5 goals and hasn't even had a power play yet to Philly's 4.

Chicago is such the better team its sickening but they've played incredibly sloppy and have had so sh!tty luck to this point. If Chicago actually tightens up their defense and gets a couple of powerplays they'll roll the Flyers.

Freaking foot race.

Lousy defense and the goaltending at both ends isn't at all sharp.

In honor of one of the greatest dmen to ever play the game, I remain to this day and forever after a lifetime member of the Scott Stevens Fan Club:

"If you ever had to describe what a Devil player would be," said Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello, "the name would be Scott Stevens."

"He was just huge," Devils left wing Patrik Elias said of walking into training camp the first time in 1995. "I was afraid of him. You had a 170-pound guy coming here and he was 220, 225 with these paws like a bear. I was pretty intimidated the first few years. I'm happy he was on my side the whole time."

Ballgame

Chicago leads 1-0

Philadelphia friggen BLEW this game. When you're the underdog and the much better team is playing like crap you can't give them every chance in the world to escape that crappy of an effort. Philly loses this series this is the game where they barfed it up.

Philly won't win this series playing like this and Leighton was a pylon tonight.

Laviolette left him in too long.

Glad to see Chicago starting it off the right way. Surprised how high-scoring the game was, but it seems the caliber goaltending is starting to show.
