The Newark Housing Authority, which serves as the city’s agent in its dealings with the Devils and the Prudential Center arena, filed suit seeking to have a hotly contested agreement on the sharing of parking revenues be declared null and void.
At the same time, the Devils filed for immediate arbitration to resolve a litany of contract disputes that have tied up rent payments to the city for nearly three years.
The exchange left it clear that the once-close partners were done talking.

Didn't JVB say a couple of weeks ago or so that the 2 sides were very close to an agreement and everyone on here believed him? lol Sorry but I saw this coming from 100 miles away.

Interesting is that the agreement touched on the land acquisitions which I didn't realize were part of the lease.
