I am on lake okanagan in kelowna, bc. I have been following this religiously via crackberry and my wife is ready to stangle me. Off to banff tomorrow and then on to calgary to pee in sutter's cheerios.

Quail Ridge golf center. Just shot 2 under on the pitch-n-putt, was returning to my friends car to swap the 56/putter for a driver and 6 iron, decided to check my phone and had 13 "Kovi to Devils" texts. The first one i read, my ranger-fan-cousin, said "Kovalfvck to dirty jerzee", I almost flipped out. Was so excited I didn't hit a single good shot on the range.
I was at Green Knoll Golf Center on the 2nd hole of pitch-n-putt. I got the text, checked Twitter to confirm, and ran across the green towards my buddy (also huge Devils fan) while screaming at the top of my lungs. After that, I hit my putt 4 feet past the hole.

I was in school taking a test, finished it and found out Kolvy was a Devil 
Stationed in Section 114, along with my friend who became a STH for 10-11. My sister got 1/2 season tickets after Kovy signed! Now she can enjoy that Kovy jersey often. woohoo!

I was somewhere in the middle of PA driving on Route 80 going to OH. Got a txt from ESPN and nearly drove of the road I was going to crazy.
I was in Kent, OH when I got the veto txt. First words were "Are you kidding! Go f--k yourself Bettman!!!"

When he signed: Putting exhaust pipes away at work...first text was from my brother and I thought it was a joke since he is a Ranger fan...then my phone blew up from Devil fans.

TSN website for my daily check. I was at work and saw the headline "Kovalchuk remains a Devil"...excitement and "head scratching" ensued as I couldn't believe Lamoriello finally signed someone for more money that it would take to purchase a Panera Bread sandwich...

I stayed home from work sick on Monday and was trying to sleep when I got repeatedly texted about the Kovy signing.
I was dead tired from being unable to sleep the day before so I tried to go to bed early last night and kept getting awoken with texts saying the contract was rejected.
Maybe when I go to bed tonight, I'll get texts saying Bettman was just kidding and Kovalchuk's deal is A-OK?
