I was hoping this show would get blown up, now it's going in the opposite direction, getting more exposure. 2 more Devil-haters on the ny airwaves, just what we need.

I used to listen to them during my morning commute, but I just can't stand Carton anymore. I get that it's a common radio shtick to be arrogant ... it gets people to call in. But he's just a jackoff.

The straw that broke the camel's back was when he was arguing with a caller that Robin Hood was a Disney invention. Really, Carton? Robin Hood wasn't a folklore figure going back as far as the 15th century? There weren't at least three other Robin Hood movies, including the famous Errol Flynn one, before Disney ever made it's cartoon? No, you friggin dolt, that caller -- that you spent a half hour ranting and raving about how much of an idiot he is -- was right. And you weren't even close.

Can't stand him. The world of radio entertainment would be better off if he took a long walk off a short pier. And now this assclown is getting even more exposure. Balls.

I actually like him ever since he was on WNEW doing the morning show Sports Guys and when he was doing NJ101.5 Carton and Rossi. I think he does all that stuff to agitate people and get ratings. His show with Boomer is the number one show on morning radio at the WFAN. His popularity even got him a show on Spike for like 15 minutes i think on Thursday nights. I get the impression that he is trying to follow in the steps of Stern, Opie/Anthony and Imus.

I dont agree with everything he does especially the way he accused Tino Martinez of doing steroids live in a telephone interview and how he sometimes treats callers. I do respect the fact that he does a lot of charity work especially to help children and back in his days on NJ101.5, he even helped a high school who lost their prom due to some stupid rules that the principal created.

My dad doesnt like him, but listens to him. I know he is infamous for exposing Lindros on missing a game for being hung over. He ended up being fired for that and recently they interviewed someone from the Flyers higher ups and they actually confirmed it.

Yeah, I know that it's probably an act. It doesn't make him any more listenable to me. And that's great about his charitable stuff, but that doesn't make me wanna listen to him.

And I gave the show a real honest try, too ... listened to it for a couple months. But he just grated on my nerves and I couldn't take it anymore. I just listen to that crotchety old bag Gearhart on 101.5 now. But, by the same token, I can't listen to the "Jersey Guys" on my ride home. One of those guys (don't know which one, Casey maybe?) is even more arrogant than Carton and he sounds like a mouth-breathing version of Bert from Sesame Street.

To each his own ...
