What's up Devil fans? Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Aaron, 29, from upstate New York (Poughkeepsie area). Never really followed the NHL before this season. My roomate Jay's enthusiasm for this team led me to become a fan. I hope to get to a game sometime in the next couple weeks or so. So here I am...possibly the newest Devil fan on the planet.

Upstate????? Dude I'm from Westerchester County and live in the Great City Of Peekskill! (Go Red Devils!) Your only about an hour north of me and I hate when people classify Westchester, Putnam or Dutchess counties as upstate. You still have over 350 miles to go until to you get to Canada. you're not upstate!!!!!!!

Sorry had to let off some steam :burn:

But Congrats on coming over to the dark side and welcome to the Devils Army!!!

I always go to concerts at The Chance.

Anyway, welcome!

Pay homage to the INCREDIBLE scoring goalie!!!! :-)

I saw CRASHER trip a kid on skates and then he stole the kids lunch money and slapped his mom when she came to pick him up.. All because the kid looked at his crease

Anything south of Kingston is downstate NY. :P

If you can get on a Metro North train, you're definitely downstate.

(Disclaimer: Life-long resident of the Albany area here.)

Welcome anyway! :burn:

Posted Image of the Devils' mascot, NJ Devil, and Posted Image of all mascots far and wide.

IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!! Posted Image

Thanks guys (and girls?). It was nice to see a win last night. I've already starting saying "we" and "us" haha. I lived down in queens for a good portion so I consider Poughkeepsie upstate. Anyway, I'll be sure to ask questions. Let's go Devils.
