How do you guys get sticks so easily (besides the Equipment Sale)? I want to get into this but they are hard to come by.

I'm also wondering where all the sticks come from.. I assume the Devils equipment sales but I figure maybe there is another source.. Got my Elias and Oduya sticks on the wall and I gotta say they look great.. Would love to have like 10 signed sticks on my wall in a few years

Like you guys assumed, I would say most of the game used Devils sticks you see out there originated at the equipment sales. Older sticks (up to 2003 or 2004) could have come from MeiGray also. If you keep your eyes out and know where to look, you can find some great sticks for sale by collectors.

Wow...seeing that list makes me realize how much money I've blown on sticks...LOL!

Also, if anyone is interested, I have two Langenbrunner sticks and a Shanahan stick for sale. All three are Warrior AK27s and were purchased directly from the Devils. One Langenbrunner is photo matched.

Yeah, it's basically equipment sale, meigray, other collectors and being in the hobby knowing where to look.

I've amassed probably at least 100 sticks as of now and they all came from any of the above over a period of 6 years since i started collecting. They do take up room, that i do not have right now, so i've been thinning them out.

Yeah, knowing other collectors or collector sites is a big help. Some of my sticks have come from members on here like Ken (unknown poster), Matt (Chorske17), Mike (KC Devil), Ben (Rufener), and Andrew (3CUPSN9).

Like Ken said, my biggest problem is space...there's nowhere to put them!!

I have a few on display:




But most of them just lean against my wall. They're still there where I can see them and enjoy them, but it's not as nice as having them hanging:

Hm maybe Ill have to go after the Elias signing to check it out.

*The site says that its Player Appearances which doesnt always mean autograph signings. He could be there just for the store and to bring in customers.

I called the store and they said that he will be signing autographs for FREE. he will be signing everything but not jerseys. i forgot to ask what time the event will be

Not necessarily true. I am sure the store is shelling out good money to have him appear (not that he needs it)for their "Grand Opening". I think he will still show He is a good dude and committed to it so I think he will be there.

I agree that he wouldn't back out unless absolutely necessary and that he is probably being paid well but TG mentioned on his twitter feed yesterday that the Devils don't want Zach at tomorrow's game because of the painkillers that he is on. I would think that would be sufficient to keep him away from Saturday's appearance.
Update: as of 8PM, the person who answered the phone at the store said "so far, we haven't heard anything different" when I asked if ZP would still be there.
