Not only should JMAC be fired in the next 10 minutes - he should personally have to come to every Devils fan door and apologize for this embarrassment.
Scott Gordon was fired for less!!!!!!!

Sorry, that is the dumbest sh!t I have ever heard. An NHL coach should not have to apologize for sh!t. This isn't the NFL where a coach can make serious game-changing decisions. This team is flat out bad. I'm sorry, but any NHL coach is not going to work magic on this roster right now.

"The Stanley Cup has fallen from the Stars. The new millennium has its first Stanley Cup Champion, and it's the New Jersey Devils." Mike Miller calling the Devils winning the Stanley Cup.

"It goes to the captain and then there are handoffs during a skate around the ice" Mike Emrick as Scott Stevens is being presented the Stanley Cup.

^7^ is just defending his sport sheeps.. as Alcibiades the exiled Athenian rationalizes in his speech to the enemy Spartans, he wants to take revenge on Athens because he loves it and can't stand to see the state it's in now - Triumph

Because Brian Burke told them to.

"The Devils have high standards, that's the difference. We have a standard to live up to every year, and a couple of teams in our area don't have the standards we do." - Pat Burns

The New Jersey Devils win Stanley Cups everywhere:
-NHL record for most road wins in the playoffs - 10-1 in '95 and 10-2 in '00
-NHL record for most home wins in the playoffs - 12-1 in '03

My point is that we're being given sh!t. The Devils are being outclassed by a mediocre Toronto team. They look bad compared to Toronto! If that isn't damning evidence that this team is a mess I don't know what is.

New Jersey Devils - Three Time Stanley Cup Champions 1995 - 2000 - 2003

" 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1!! And the oldest trophy competed for in North America, LORD STANLEY'S CUP, has made it's way through the Lincoln Tunnel! To the Meadowlands! To the Garden State! THE NEW JERSEY DEVILS ARE THE 1995 STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!!" Mike Miller, June 24th, 1995

" I have for some time been thinking that it would be a good thing if there were a challenge cup which should be held from year to year by the champion hockey team in the dominion" Frederick Arthur, Lord Stanley of Preston

The ultimate responsibility lies with the coach. Coach-killers or not..
JMAC's got no answers - does anybody believe that he has a plan, a strategy, a technique?
He's said nothing that makes me think he's ready for this gig.
At least change the air in the room I don't care who it is.

Ya know? It kinda has to happen, no matter who is more at fault. It shouldn't be THIS bad.

Marty's right arm was slashed as the guy went by. That's why he was slow to get up and pissed.

Yeah I'm done with Mac too...how can he expect them to have any chemistry when he won't even keep the lines together for a whole period?

I have to rack my brain to think of any NHL team that's been this bad in recent memory. Last year's Oilers? The Penguins pre-lockout? As far as other sports, this is definitely Met-like and I'm about reaching the same level of apathy I have as a Met fan now. I don't even want to bring up when the last time I saw play this bad from the Jets was <coughKotitecough>.

Posted Image of Zach Parise's McFarlane Figure!

NEW JERSEY In keeping with the fact they are the Devils, New Jersey actually went with a villain by the name of Lex Lou-Lamoriello, an evil genius who finds ways to get around the salary cap until he is stopped in his tracks by Bett-man.
