What's with the NHL.com Standings?

Why do they blank out the Islanders losing streak? Also seems a few other streaks are off as well.

They reset it if there is an OT loss.

At the bottom, they do explain it. tsn site does the same thing.

* According to official NHL statistics regarding team streaks, a loss in overtime or a shootout ends a losing streak because the team earned a point in the standings (as opposed to zero points, as in a regulation loss). Teams that lose in a shootout or overtime thus have a blank listing in the Streak column in the standings.
