i don't think that can be true either, fwiw.

turns out it isn't, brodeur's is only the 14th worst since 1988:

Thanks Tri.

Yes, I stand corrected. 14th. The ranking showed up as most recent and didn't sort for me by save %. Still pretty craptastic either way.

On this date last year, we were the best team in hockey. Today, we are the worst.

Perhaps the most depressing fact/statistic of all...

That's actually better than I thought. I was sure we were the worst team in hockey for the calendar year, but I think the Isles or Oilers may have us beat there.

Oilers do for sure, they're 23-43-11 over that span by my count.

This is depressing:
Brodeur is 5-18-1 with a .866 save percentage. Also the Devils average 1.7 gpg more then .5 goals below the team above them, Toronto. Ouch I think back the the first game of the year when the Devils scored 2 quick goals and everybody thought this team would score 500 times. My how things have changed.

There are 44 statistically qualified goaltenders in the league.
Brodeur's GAA (3.15) is 38th and his SVPCT (.882) is 44th, i.e., worst in the league.

Now the Devils have matched their total of regulation losses for all of last year. And the season's not half over yet.

IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!! Posted Image

This is meaningless. Of these 5 wins how many came against the oppositions starting goalie? Since November most teams view us as the new Islanders and rest their starting goalies. Yesterday, we played against Dan Ellis while the Lightning rested Roloson.

Big whoop, how many of our losses have also come against the oppositions backup? That'd be a stat to put here :P

Why is that weird? We lost 4 games by being shutout... I don't get it.
