You now why that is, they learn us the Queens English in school and when we would speak American the teacher would get mad. This was in my school time i think they are not so strikt any more. And i didn't like the Queen of Brits so i forgot everything again soon wenn i finished schoolHe's from France. The more posts you read, the more the accent will come through.

Well, that's the way they teach languages here, too. You don't learn "conversational", you learn "proper". So most of us sound like idiots when we try to speak another language.

yes, Joe Nieuwendyk's parents immigrated to Canada before he was born. He's a future Hall of Famer, now with the Toronto Maple Leafs. And my favorite player, in case you couldn't tell.

Operation Marketgarden was a plan by the British during WW2 to sieze the Nijmegen bridge in Arnhem with paratroopers. Unfortunately, they landed on a refitted SS division, and had a pretty rough go at it. How this relates to hockey, I'll never know. But I work the night shift, and I'm done after a Hellish night. Plus now I'm loaded like a freight train.
