Its been an ongoing thing with him. I have also heard it quite a bit this season.

We have the #1 play-by-play guy in the league and the #30 color guy. Chico is unbearable.

My main gripe with Chico is that he talks too much.

I love Chico, he is our John Madden to Pat Summeral. Listen to other teams broadcasts and you can appreciate how our colorful guy is relatively balanced and Doc is just simply the best. I honestly think we are very very lucky to have the combo we do.

chico rules. Sure hes completely biased and thinks almost every penalty called on the devils is wrong but he really adds to the game, i think. He's funny, possibly drunk and I'd hate it if he wasnt there. I put on a ranger game and want to kill the rangers guy. And the Islanders, good god , there guys make me fall to sleep. My only fault with him is he can be too overly optimistic like when the devils are down 5-0 in the second period and he starts trying to keep viewers by saying if they score two or three in the last 8 minutes and then a few more in the third, they can win the game. I'd go more with the reason i continue watching blowouts, there will most likely be some fights.

Doc and Chico are great! The ONLY thing I dislike about attending the games, is NOT being able to listen to their broadcast 
Stationed in Section 114, along with my friend who became a STH for 10-11. My sister got 1/2 season tickets after Kovy signed! Now she can enjoy that Kovy jersey often. woohoo!
