The important thing is not to get too high or too low. The swings are intense, but losing two in a row wasn't the end of the world just yet...I'm not banking on help, but it sure would be nice.

well now im rooting for Kovie to get 30 goals... at least thats something
Gotta enjoy the little things.
Overall, this team made the best of this season. Back in Dec. most fans were ready to burn this thing to the ground and start over. Now we know we have a team that can and will contend next year.

Even if Buffalo and Carolina go 4 - 5 or if Carolina goes 5 - 4 and Buffalo goes 4 - 4 - 1, the Devils still have to win out. While it is certainly not impossible, the team has to somehow gasp asecond wind and get on the winning side again.
I am not giving up yet, but 1 more loss and well I think we all know where it goes from there.
I am thrilled to death at the 2nd half this team has given us, would love to just see a few more meaningful games here to finish out this great half of season.
Lets Go Devils we arent giving up yet!!

Hopefully this little rest they're getting until Friday helps them get that second wind. I'm not watching the other scores anymore, just going to watch and enjoy NJ's games...if we win the next 5 I'll check the standings againWell in reality here is the situation, if you look at Buffalo's remaining games, and Carolina's remaining games, it is conceivable that both of those teams go 4 - 5 in their last 9 Carolina would have to lose 2 of 3 to Tampa which is possible. While this scenerio is a lot to ask the bigger problem at this point is our schedule

Buffalo and Carolina dont play tonight but we can certainly root for Sens to beat the Rags tonight...

Exactly. Though the Sabres are likely the only team we have a chance at catching, go Sens go.

It might not matter as they are likely way too far out of reach but the Rangers lost in a SO.

With a win tonight and a little help we can make a little headway.
Pens will be tired after a tough shootout win, so Devils need to jump on them right away and win tonight.
Florida needs to upset the Sabres (tough but not impossible)
Vancouver beats Atlanta... very possible
Tampa at home takes care of business against the Canes...
Lets see where we are tomorrow...
Lets Go Devils!!!
