http://www.coolhockey.com/ is a GREAT place to get authentic jerseys CHEAP. Most people thought the site went under (including me), but apparently they just changed their domain, thought that was kind of interesting.
Basically, you can get an authentic customized Devils jersey for $229 US, a much better deal than River City Sports, where it's something like $240 (not exactly sure).
I got my authentic Pando jersey from there and they did a great job. Hope taht helps

Sports Express is the name of the store in the Livingston mall, they only sell replica jerseys (in stock), unfortunately. You can get an authentic but it'll take a good 3-4 weeks to get it back, they have to ship it out and get it customized special.

That depends, would she want it big on her or smaller and a more snug fit? I'd probably go with a medium if she wants it bigger on her, small otherwise.

What are the main differences between a replica jersey that has a named stiched and numbers and an authentic jersey? I know the authentic jersey has a fight strap but what else. Why does it have to be that much more expensive?

Maybe the jersey material itself is more expensive?
of the Devils' mascot, NJ Devil, and 
of all mascots far and wide.IT IS VERY HARD TO WIN ONE STANLEY CUP, FORGET ABOUT THREE... and maybe it's high time some of you actually APPRECIATED THAT instead of treating it like it's some flipping birthright because for some random reason you rooted for the damn Devils!!!!!

One thing, the elbows are twice a thick on the authentic, also the way the names are put on are diffrent and i don't think replica's have the numbers on the sleves. There is probley more.

The crest, numbers, and name are different material and are sewn on differently. Elbows are reinforced, and the jersey also features a fight strap. Don't think there's any real difference in the jersey material, though.

Authentics have a fight strap, reinforced elbows and shoulders, underarm gussets, and full tackle twill crest (vs. embroidered like the replicas). The logos are also a little different: replicas have a CCM/Koho logo on the right wrist and an NHL puck logo on the hem. Authentics have no wrist logo and the silver NHL shield on the hem. Authentics come in sizes 48, 52, 56, etc. (chest sizes) and replicas come in small, medium, large, etc. I got a 52 and it's pretty big. I think I might get a 48 next time.

Ya the chest sizes. I want to get a personalized football jerseys but I don't get the 48, 52 and all those numbers to how it would compare to a medium, large or XL.

XLs are huge! My husband got one by mistake and it's a tent! You gotta be big to wear a XL. He's 6' and 210, I think? He's got a tummy, if you know what I mean, but he's not fat. Don't know if that helps any. Eh.

Well, on the websites like River City Sports and CoolHockey, they automatically do the sizing change for you -- they just ask you S, M, L, XL and they'll convert it to 48, 52, 54, etc.

52 is pretty big. I would compare 52 to a "regular" XL.

I have two replica jerseys both size large, both fit well and are comfortably big.52 is pretty big. I would compare 52 to a "regular" XL.
I can wear a sweatshirt and such under it.
Is Large, 48?
