Doesn't matter to me, just get invited to the dance. Then beat whatever team is on the other bench. Do that 16 times and get to party with a big silver chalice during the summer.

Post-season would have made it more clear.

Ehh, I don't care about first place...making the playoffs (which is never a lock, I don't care what anyone says) is good enough for me. I voted for a sixth place finish (which is something I can see as being realistic), but I don't think it really matters WHERE the team finishes, just as long as they're in the top eight. You might be faced with a very tough or tricky opponent if you're a first place team...who knows what the Islanders can do...I'd hate facing them.
...poster claims to have a friend whos father know Kovalchucks agent's close partner and he was told by his friends father that they are just sorting the details out.

All I care about is that they make the playoffs. After that anything can happen. Sometimes I have to watch the Cup DVD to remind myself they really won it last year and I didn't dream it. I mean, honestly, no one really thought they'd win it all. B)
