#1088940 Threats of personal violence.

Posted by DevilMinder on 07 February 2012 - 09:40 PM

There is few things I cannot let slide on this forum. Threatening physical violence to another poster is one of THE ways to get yourself permanently banned. Arguing on a forum is bound to happen but when you suggest/insinuate that you meet up and settle this man to man at the Arena or other location it becomes a very real legal situation. This website cannot tolerate those situations, several long time posters have already lost their access to this site over it.

Consider yourselves warned (again).

I had hoped it would steer people to be more constructive if they saw it was ill or well received. I am open to debate about turning it back on though.

Dial back the personal insults people. I am actually getting pretty FRIGGIN sick of the same 4 or 5 of you being so uncivil to each other. This is your last warning in the future you will just find yourself banned.

I don't care what your reasons are or how long you have been on the forum or how much you have spent.

Stop it now.

Damn, sucks for Elias and Zajac to be stuck overnight in a car. I will make a note to self to avoid 280 in the future during snowstorms.

Okay I enabled facebook Connect. Essentially allows the two to be shared back and forth, like shared status and so forth. Go to your name on top right, click settings, then profile settings. Enable facebook, make sure you are logged into facebook first.

#454584 Off topic After hours

Posted by DevilMinder on 30 March 2007 - 11:35 PM

I am making this so only those who are of a certain mindset and age can read some of our raunchier posts. This enables me to keep recommending the site to friends and family and not be embarrassed. Private message me or any of the NLD regulars (sammy, Diablo) they know the password.

If you feel a thread should be moved there just message me and I will move it. As I have created this new area I would appreciate that the more racy comment be relegated to that area. I have been pretty lax lately with that and it seems to have filtered into almost every thread on the site. If you wouldn't make the comment to a 13 year old I would appreciate if you didn't post in the general areas that way.

Along those lines, remember this site gets most of it's traffic during workday hours. People are most likely browsing at work and an errant picture can get someone in serious trouble. If you feel something has stepped over the line quickly hit the report post and any of the online admins can take the needed action if self-policing doesn't work first.
