In Topic: Which Player are you Most Curious to Watch Next Season?

For me, I guess all 3 D-men Lars, Merrill, & Gelly. I want them to succeed so Sal can move on after this year & Lars/Merrill can be used in all situations. (We know Sal/Zids probably won't be back) Hopefully bring Severson up for good next year.

And start making this team younger. Also, I'm pulling for JJ.  I saw sparks last year at times. I hope he belongs.  He does well in the AHL. I'm hoping thats not all

In Topic: Andy Greene Signed +5 years @ $5M Per Season

Rather Greene at 5 then Brooks Orpik at 5 plus

green much more versatile than Orpik. Brooks hasn't had PP time in his entire career. he's a shutdown guy. then again, so is Andy.

It's OK, cakes, you're forgiven. We have bigger fish to fry, like, unloading a couple fw's.

In Topic: NJ/Albany Minor Transactions Thread (was Thomson/Johnson thread)

Look forward to the A Devs coming to Norfolk to play. I usually go down for morning skate (usually back to back games) everyones there, usually hanging out watching Admirals practice.  Everyones friendly. especially coaches.  Spoke to Pesonen & he seemed surprised somebody down here would knew who he was.

Deboer worked with his buddy P. Maurice & Tippett at the worlds. I was wondering if he might tweak his systems at all? Sometimes you pick up pointers from another coach.

I guess everything coaching wise will remain the same.  Brylin was a good addition last year.

In Topic: Jacob Josefson signed to a one-year deal

I can't agree with you 100% but i can't disagree that Josefson is mishandle by Deboer. (if im JJ i would be pissed) But the gentleman drinks lou.s Kool aid because he's staying with us. I respect Josefson and wish him good fortune this year.

This coach is (and will always be) a what have you done for me lately.  (like all NHL coaches) Show me what you got and you'll play accordingly. Coach can't give you "time" to work on your game. JJ has short comings. Not strong on the walls, sometimes unwilling to go to dirty areas. In the players exiting interviews with management last year, what do you think JJ was asked "to work on" over the summer? I would love for him to succeed here and not be a bust. I'm sure Lou/Deboer does as well. Signing him to a 2 yr contract is showing confidence. Now JJ needs to show urgency, not Deboer.
