its confirmed http://www.newjersey...m/njd/index.phphaha Lou just never releases information on his signings - I won't consider it confirmed until TSN/sportsnet puts it up as legitimate.
Єklund (2.3% accurate) (2.3% accurate) actually seems like he might've gotten one right.
Anyway, VV is TOUGH - he's also been on some teams that've gone deep into the playoffs. I think he's an upgrade over Lukowich - he's younger, faster, and more physical - his only downside is his positioning but I think we've got Kool-Aid for that.

if im correct doesnt elias have a no trade clause in his contract. From Єklund (2.3% accurate) (2.3% accurate):
10:19 According to a Source the NJ DEVILS are trying to make a substantial trade the will "shake the organization." I am hearing that it may involve Elias and I am hearing the Canucks have SERIOUS interest and could trade some D salary back to NJ. Also with interest in Elias...the Maple Leafs and the Canadiens.

i became a devils fan in 99 and went to my first game that year, i remember it was against phoenix. honestly i wont miss the arena too much, the only memorable moments that i had there were scott stevens night and last week when the devils beat ottawa in 2ot. i want devils to move to newark as soon as possible because then i will able to go to more games next year, and take the train! Now that we are getting close to the end for the Brendan Byrne / Continental Airlines Arena for the Devils (could have anywhere from 1-8 games left at the arena) I was wondering how some of you who have been going there either since 1982 or just started going last year...are any of you going to miss the new arena tremendously? Are you indifferent about it? Or are you just so pumped for the new arena that you do not care at all about leaving East Rutherford?
Just putting this out there as I am curious about the emotions of the move now that we are getting closer to it becoming a reality.
