I got...Harri fvckin' Pesonen.  Girl I went to the game with? Marty Brodeur.

 

Yeah I fvckin' hate mystery puck night. Didn't think I'd "top" Rod Pelley, but there it is.

 

The rest of my family, who went seperately from me, got all D - Tallinder, Larsson, Volchenkov, Zidlicky.

Four posts and not a single "Oppa Gagne Style." I'm impressed.

Of course, I ruined it, but I'm impressed nonetheless.

Allow me to post a short list of my thoughts while reading the article and the comments here:

1. When did the guy from KoRn become a Los Angeles-based hockey writer?
2. Is the potential new owner gonna smash watermelons with an oversized mallet during intermissions? Or maybe as a throwing-the-jelly type diatribe?
3. This strikes me as a guy who wants it known he'll buy if Vanderbeek sells (meaning can't pay off the debt). A vulture, but a rich vulture.
4. Obviously the Devils are going nowhere, because of the arena/TV deal/etc. Plus, where would they go that makes sense with this potential owner?
5. When I read "rich oil tycoon," I think:

If he is anything like this...hell, I'd be for the sale, because it would be amusing as hell.

I turned off the game after the Rags scored the second goal and didn't watch the rest of the game.  I just couldn't do it, and might even not even watch game 6 or 7 if it gets that far.  Just way too nerve-racking, not to mention that I consumed about 10 cigarettes from 8 to 11 last night.

Why couldn't I have gotten into poetry instead of sports?

Poetry's fvckin stressful, man.
Most think they can do it, but not everyone can.

I'm already tired of all of my friends who are Rangers fans. Here's a quote from one:

"The Devils are thanking God almighty right now that they can make some money from Ranger fans buying tickets for MSG East."

I want to crush these fvcking douchebags and remind them that they haven't won sh!t yet and deserve no respect.

Maybe inform this directionally inept Rangers fan that Prudential Center is located approximately 6 miles to the WEST of Madison Square Garden?

Idea:  If the Devils play the Blackhawks at home next season, can we all start a "PEGGY! PEGGY! PEGGY!" chant at some point?
