Could be Boulton.

#1112047 Panthers president: Devils’ fans forced team to stop selling plastic

Posted by thelastonealive on 25 April 2012 - 03:14 PM

As of a minute or two ago, LA has more followers than Yormark.

I love you, hockey fans.

Edit: I also love TG:

@TGfireandice @LaurenAshley07: 3,221, @panthersyormark: 3,196. Apparently, Lauren's opinion can matter now.

#1111917 Devils First Round Schedule

Posted by thelastonealive on 25 April 2012 - 11:54 AM

Okay, this is VERY IMPORTANT:

The Rangers/Senators game will end before ours. IF the Rangers lose, and I see any Devils fans gloating before our game is finished - I WILL smack a bitch. I remember 2009 well. Do NOT bring that kind of karma on us again.

#1107043 EQF Game 1 - Playoff GDT: New Jersey Devils @ Florida Panthers

Posted by thelastonealive on 13 April 2012 - 04:48 PM

Just want to note here that this thread is now longer than most weekend GDTs were getting for most of the season.

...that wasn't a rhetorical question. Seriously, are we ready, or, what?

Upon further review, I'd like to add one final match to the card:

TheLastOneAlive vs. Scottie2Hottie: Buried Alive match.

Also, Buried Alive match? I got this sh!t. They don't call me The Last One Alive for nothin' son.

I like your signature. I feel like the number of people out there who are Devils // Seahawks fans is probably small, but I am proud to be one of them.

Myself, you, and gdhi make for a small faction on this board. I'm pretty sure Don is also a Seahawks fan if I'm not mistaken. Thrilled we got Matt Flynn; Packers backups tend to do well as starters once they get there.

#1100221 Ye Olde Goal Horn, CAA-style

Posted by thelastonealive on 18 March 2012 - 05:24 PM

Bring back the old horn....along with the o'lays. Man do I miss the o'lays.

We haven't been past the first round of the playoffs since they replaced Ole! as our goal song.

Surely that must mean something, right? RIGHT?!

...I miss Ole.

#1098597 Humor Rankings Return

I feel like we have made it guys. The Devils are fun to watch!

Up is down, the sky is green, Nickelback is...well, still terrible. BUT STILL.

#1094185 Boulton on Waivers

Posted by thelastonealive on 25 February 2012 - 12:14 PM

Oh thank god. I have never disliked a Devils player as much as I dislike Boulton.

Also, I'd be all for filing a claim on Clitsome. But, admittedly, it's only to giggle sheepishly at his name more often.

I almost wanna call them the Huffy Line because of how hard they cycle.

Seriously. The Daneyko one looks more like a Backstreet Boy than the toothless wonder we all remember from his playing days.

#1088213 The Evolution of Ilya Kovalchuk

Posted by thelastonealive on 05 February 2012 - 11:32 AM

Someone on Twitter said it best yesterday, when he/she said "Kovalchuk playing (and playing well) on the penalty kill is the New Jersey Devil-est thing to ever happen."

To steal a joke from Down Goes Brown - at least we finally know how to beat Tim Thomas: crowd him with left wingers and he won't even show up.

#1084902 GDT: Flyers @ Devils (feat. My Little Poni)

Yes, it's absolutely pathetic that they're losing to the teams that are very, very good. How dare they.

Seriously. The over-reaction to losses is getting a bit ridiculous around here (and, frankly, part of the reason why I don't post nearly as much as I used to - there's no talking to some newer folk). This isn't football, one win or one loss does not equate to a major portion of the season. Two losses to two of the best teams in the East, in which we were right in the majority of the game, does not equal "blow up the team, fire Lou, trade everyone." It means that this team is still in games against the best in the league in January, with plenty of time to figure it out.

I am confident this team is making the playoffs, and perhaps even making some noise once there.
