In Topic: What is wrong with our fanbase

I'm a New Jersey-first fan:

* Devils

* Giants (If they'd switch to the N.J. name, I'd root for them as hard as the Devs)

* Jets (If they'd switch to the N.J. name, I'd root for them as hard as the Devs)

* Nets (I used to root for them until they moved to Brooklyn)

* Red Bulls (If they'd switch to the N.J. name, I'd root for them as hard as the Devs, but because they never played in N.Y. and still choose to use the N.Y. name, they're below the Nets in my book)

* Don't like baseball

I can totally believe that the late-arriving crowd was due to the traffic.  It was really bad on 21. Next time, I'm taking the train.

As for the 3D light show, it's too bad they can't do a little something with it in between periods.

The traffic on Rt. 21 SUCKED tonight, both coming in and going home. I F'n missed the whole introduction to Chico's speech, and my little kid was upset he missed the 3D show. Did they even do it?

Woo-hoo, scored free tickets to tonight's game! I'll be rocking my Resch throwback jersey, for sure.

Chico was my first favorite Devils player. I remember getting off the ice from a hockey clinic at the old Ice House in Totowa where the Devs used to hold their practices. That night, the Devs were holding their family Christmas party. As I was getting changed, I looked out and saw Chico skating with his kid on the ice. He looked over and saw me peering at him through the glass and so I waved at him and he waved back with a smile. It really made my day. I've since met him in person and had my pic taken with him, but I'll always remember that first little moment years ago.

That might be the coolest thing I've ever seen
