I don't trust Lou's vision for this team anymore. In Lou We a Trust was fun for a while but those days are over. I know this board doesn't like hearing that but more of you guys should be pissed off about where our team is and where it's going and not be defending him all the time.
I don't think it makes you a bad fan either, because essentially you are rooting for long-term success. I just think that during a game itself, one should not root for their team to lose. That is just against the essence of fandom and supporting one's team.
Absolutely agree with you there. I could never boo the guys on ice no matter what the situation is. If you aren't there to support the team then don't show up.
I just don't buy this stuff. I don't think Zach had any intention of re-signing in NJ. The one year deal was very telling IMO. He was probably blowing smoke up Marty's ass just like he did to Lou and the rest of us.
Seems to me like Pete uses seniority to choose who takes the shootouts and not necessarily the best options. Let's be honest, we go to overtime a lot and we are not good at the shootouts. I don't think Zajac is the best choice to be taking shootouts. Henrique is okay but I think for the shootout there are better options. He has been getting better though.
I'd try this for a while:
Honestly I never even thought this would matter but it seems like it's actually an issue worth addressing.
In a throwback to the country’s authoritarian ruling, Russian president Vladimir Putin has signed a controversial law that punishes people for “homosexual propaganda.” The law fines people—including tourists—up to 200,000 rubles ($6,240 CDN) for “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations.”
They might have a case against Kovy since he just got finished banging the Devils in the ass.
I'm kind of ready for the ownership issues to be over with already. I'm tired of hearing about them. If VBK can't afford this team on his own then sell already. As long as they keep the team in New Jersey and are stable enough with their finances, I don't really care who owns the team.
