NO, I stopped bidding at $294.00 when I saw the LOA was lost.  It looks like a lot of light wear too, but the missing LOA was an issue as MeiGray usually will not give a replacement LOA to anyone.  FYI!!!!

If it was still a Bobby Carpenter, i would be interested. However, this hobbyist i wouldn't give a dime to. One of you guys would have to buy it and i'd have to reimburse you.

Mr Al out in Arizona... He is an interesting guy.  He tried to sell me a #22 Scott Daniels that was supposedly worn by Patrik Elias.  I thought it was the match to my rookie sweater recycled into a Daniels.  But for some reason I called MeiGray.    Barry, Stu, and I spoke on a conference call and figured out that was it was Zezel that wore the gamer (that did have MeiGray documents).  Barry and Stu stated they NEVER EVER told anyone nor did the paperwork state that the Scott Daniels sweater was worn by Elias or Zezel, but by figuring out the time line of when the sweater was worn we all agreed it was not be Elias.   Turns out the other #22 ROOKIE Patrik Elias is in another collectors hands.

BE WARNED that this may have NEVER been worn by Bobby Carpenter and it could be made up by AL just to sell thing.  I have no idea and without seeing the LOA... Well... I bet it isn't on there either...  I would bet money it isn't.  FYI!!!!!!

I just noticed all of Bob West's stuff is gone from the MeiGray site...anyone know what happened to it?

His site states he is taking a break from the hobby.  I hope he is forced to see all of his remaining inventory for a loss.   I'm sure it is tough for him and his family with having his 7th or 8th child and especially since that child was born with down-syndrome.   However, exploiting gamers at "HUGE SAVINGS" to help pay for medical bills as he did was wrong.  I was shocked that he had the nerve to mark things up from MeiGray, return them to them at that price and then try to move them.  

He has one sweater I really REALLY want, but on principle, I don't think I could or will do business with him.  I do not think he understands that we (the "Devils collectors") saw how he swallowed up all the Devils products just before the MeiGray sale (True MeiGray DID sell them to him) and then they just sat.  Then he sold a good bit back to MeiGray.  Interesting that some items were available from him and others were on MeiGray.  I wonder why that was.

Crosby grab bag from meigray... They raised the price to $595 plus $20 fro shipping. I'm debating it, the value of the other jerseys are a bit more, but the chance to get a Crosby means a chance at a Brodeur or at least I think so.

I wouldn't bother either.  I don't know why they won't put a Brodeur in.  Is it because all the other GRAND PRIZE (if you want to call that) have been worn for less than two games?  Deep inside, I don't think I would get involved for a Brodeur either.  Especially since the one they'll probably do is the "Daneyko" retirement night bench worn.   I'm so glad, these guys are pumping money into the grab bags, maybe when something good comes out, I'll have money to burn and they'll still be stuck with their "Marek Malik Set two blue with a light mark on the front hem".

Been lurking for a while here. Great site. Just wanted to post and introduce myself.

I got my first Devils gamer this week. It is the Dainius Zubrus 08/09 White Set 1. It was delivered on Tuesday from MGG and it is a very cool shirt. I would classify the wear as very good to excellent (at least talking in terms of the current shirts and their respective wear). Has 8-10 repairs depending on how you count and very good stick/puck marks. One being a stick slash across the lower hem up and across the crest. repairs range from small 1/4 inchers to 2-3 inch repairs. Also has a large "patch" repair on the sleeve.

Chorske has been a HUGE help and provided 2 nice photomatches for me.

I also have other gamers but since this is the Devs game worn thread, I will keep it to that.

This is the Elias I was offered recently.  I cannot speak a bad word about the seller as he is was very accomodating.  However, for a grab bag item... It sucks.  The description of "Light wear" really means "NO VISIBLE WEAR".  You see the only mark below the #26 and I have no idea what the other picture is for.    Good luck matching as I have tried with no success.  Still, compared to the rest of the Elias items out there.... $600.00 is a great price.   Sadly, with no wear I'll take my chances on NOT buying it.  Rumor has it the Set 2 white from the other grab bag has about the same for wear.  

Not sure if you can change or remove the BIN mid-auction, but this is Ebay and I wouldn't doubt it as long as it is not in the final 24-48 hours of the auction.

Change that $450.00... about the same as pre-economic disaster woes +/- about $100.00.  I haven't seen much from that year.  Looking for the elusive Tom Chorske, John Maclean, and Rolstons' froms that year.

Plus, I'm pretty sure I counted 4 Marek Malik shirts between the two grab bags. Look for them to be sellling for $125 each on ebay soon.

All in all, I'd say there were more than a few shirts that I would have been satisfied with if I had participated.

While the player selection seemed good for you, the wear was non-existent.  Email me privately for the wear on the Elias... I found ONE mark... ONE and I don't think it will show up on Getty or anything else.  MeiGray dumped $42000 worth of product in a great deal that got those who seek the thrill of gambling into buying what otherwise wouldn't move.  

I think people are beginning to wait for deals unless it is that one that they "HAVE TO HAVE".

$600.00 is a great price, if I didnt have an Elias gamer I would probably scoop that one up. Looks like the 2nd grab bag had the same jerseys as the first one (minus an "A" on the Elias).
