Elias is playing as good as any player for us out there, so Lou will give him the offer he gave Parise, something reasonable. In Parise's case, lover boy had to go off with his boyfriend to a land far away for a silly amount that will cripple that team, in Elias' case, he made it clear in the tweets I mentioned that he's not one of the 'we'll see what the off season brings people. He's a true Devil and said he loves the team and coach and doesn't see himself anywhere else.

i went and got the most outrageous contract, not just for me but my childhood butbuddy and now i complain about how the owners are greedy and are ruining the league for players less fortunate. i get laughed at for my lack of off the ice integrity, but that's ok, i'm not a devil anymore, i don't need integrity.

i'm happy with the devils' style of 'if you want more than we offer, then take a hike'. once you start paying more for players who don't deserve, the whole thing unravels and you become a patch work like the rags.

I'll bite. There is no possible worst case, if Parise signs, Brodeur may leave, if Parise walks, we will sign Brodeur.
