2 years - One way contract for Matteau

17 July 2015 - 06:54 PM

Well i saw today that they signed him and all but didn't really looked into it thinking mehh wtv... but it's a one way deal... quite interesting, looks like he's gonna be with the big boys this year

$575 000 + $650 000

kind of surprised there wasn't already a post about this?

i assume the lineup could be something like this... my god we have a terrifyingly bad group of forwards lol I made the joke already but we're so fvcking bad it's sick kids with cancer who's gonna come see our boys in support now, not the other way around

Cammalleri - Zajac - Palmieri

Elias - Henrique - Boucher

Matteau - Josefson - Ruutu

Zubrus - Gionta - Tootoo

Larsson Green

Severson Merril

Moore Gelinas

Schneider

What are the positive you're gonna look at next season?

09 July 2015 - 02:32 PM

Edit:  this was originaly a Conte post but realized there was another one already so i flipped this one into something else lol

So... we all know next season will likely suck just as much as the last one but what are the positive or stuff you will still be looking forward to?

for me i'm curious to see if schneider can continue his great work. Then obviously see what the new coach / philosophie will bring. And then see if the new management can fill the place and have better interaction with the fans (sure we dont have a great product to attract new fans now but still)

My little chat with Kevin Smith about Lou and George Lucas

08 July 2015 - 07:34 PM

So I went to Comicon in MTL and went to Kevin Smith's Q&A and asked him a question. Figured you guys might be interested

His reaction to my question is priceless lol

the sound is pretty bad though so its kind of hard to get what im saying

67th Overall pick: Blake Speers (center)

27 June 2015 - 10:16 AM

• In his sophomore campaign in the Ontario Hockey League, Speers finished with 67 points (24-43—67) – including 4-9—13 on a seven-game point streak to start the campaign – to help the Greyhounds capture the Hamilton Spectator Trophy as top team in the regular season for the first time in 30 years. He added nine points (3-6—9) in 14 playoff games.

his fav players is Pat Kane. So if he can get close to that.... lol
