Niedermayer may not be at the top of his game but you cannot replace the intangibles he can offer. he is in a different catagory than Klee and Haveleid. Jersey is one of the best teams at preserving the furure along with playing for the present. giving a second or third pick will not affectg the Devils at all.I am not worried about our D at all. I don' t think the Vet reinforcements the past few years have helped at all (Klee, Havelid, etc.). I would rather have Marty play better and not letting in soft goals like the past few years.
