#1145706 Boy Scouts of America

I can admit that there is a political war in this country. The Democratic Party has demonstrated it is not interested one whit in abandoning identity politics, cutting entitlements and reducing government. (The Republicans have been awful on spending, too ... until the Tea Party came along to start cleaning house.) It's clear there will be no compromise with the Democrats, and there is NO EFFORT with the Democratic Party to change their big-government, race card-playing ways. So, what do we do? We fight. I'm in favor of destroying the Democratic Party. I see it as the best solution.

I don't support the Democrats either, but the Republicans aren't exactly the beacon of compromise considering they have tried to repeal the healthcare law 30-something times now.

You are the only person in this thread that has been vilifying the other side, you said liberals express contempt for America and the Constitution, and said things like duty to God and country, patriotism, and individualism are conservative values. Those aren't conservative values, they are just values that anyone can hold regardless of politics. Then you said your intransigence isn't your fault, it's because the left started it. You seem to be blind to the fallacies of the right while attributing everything that is negative to the left; you are almost as bad as Jimmy Leeds. You also never explained how supporting the healthcare law and public unions show contempt for America, I am looking forward to reading that gem.

#1143613 BEER

I am in San Bernardino, California currently enjoying a Pliny the Elder, bottled twelve days ago. This IPA is widely regarded as one of the top three in the world and is only available in California. For a beer that smacks you in the face with hops, it is incredibly smooth and drinkable.

Luckily, everyone else seems to be waiting on him and Suter, for all intensive purposes.

Intents and purposes.

#1129509 3 out of 167...1.8%

Posted by devilsfan26 on 07 June 2012 - 02:10 AM

We've been upgraded to 8.6% now. But teams down 3-1 have had a rough patch, they're 1 out of their last 16 finishing the job. (Tampa 2011 first round against Pittsburgh) Actually, more teams have tied up 3-0 series than have won from 3-1. During that time period, obviously.

So basically what you're saying is we are overdue for a team trailing 3-1 to come back and win!

In continuation to this classic.....

...here is one I just created...

And here is the caption I made with my post of this picture on facebook:

To all the Noo Yawk Rangers fans who were born and raised in New Jersey but root for their own state's rival (including our very own Governor Jumbotron), to all the Rangers fans who would not shut the hell up about being in first place this season (act like you've been there before...oh wait I guess you haven't any time in your memory), to the tool in the section next to me tonight with the Sean Avery jersey, to all the hockey analysts and "experts" who never give the Devils the credit and respect they deserve (especially to Barry Melrose who said the Devils would miss the playoffs this year because "they're not an elite team like the Penguins, Flyers, or Rangers"), to the idiots that called in to WFAN and said the Rangers would win in 5 because the Devils would steal a game on a bad call by the refs, to the MSG Network who kept on drawing comparisons to a series that happened 18 years ago and will have no choice but to keep re-running those 1994 highlights in the offseason because once again they have nothing else to show, to everyone who said Brodeur is too old and is a has-been, to everyone who calls Lundqvist "King" despite his NHL career being devoid of any accomplishments, to the Raynjuhs fans who said the Devils played boring hockey for the past 17 years (I found those three Stanley Cups rather exciting) and then applauded their own neutral zone trap this season, to everyone who says the Devils have no fans and obviously has not been in attendance for this playoff run...this one is for every last one of you. Enjoy.

I was in Manhattan a week or two ago to participate in a market research focus group and wore my Brodeur jersey. I got a bunch of thumbs up and high fives haha.

#1077824 New Year's Eve GDT: Pittsburgh Penguins @ NJ Devils

Posted by devilsfan26 on 31 December 2011 - 03:34 PM

Wow we got a huge break there with that penalty shot haha, that was definitely a bad call. Either way, nasty move by Kovalchuk to get Fleury to bring his leg back up and reopen the five hole.

...and looks like another bad call that goes our way with that high-stick on Asham. I don't think his stick ever made contact. Hopefully we can now put to rest the theory that the league rigs game against us and in Pittsburgh's favor.

You asked for an honorable example and I took it as a generic example and I gave you one. It has nothing to do with Scott N at this point tho I will say this. Any player that says "my current teams is number on my list and then signs immediately with another team, i.e.Holik, is a LHRB. IMO Scott N had no intentions of re-signing with NJ unless his brother was signed to the Devils. He always wanted to play with his brother? Sorry but I don't care about type of occupation, in my opinion working with family is a bad idea.

How long before Scott signed with Anaheim did he say the Devils were number one on his list? I don't remember that.

I'm sure the Niedermayers would disagree with you that playing on the same team was a bad idea considering they won a Cup together, and I doubt the Sedins think playing together is a bad idea.
