Sal actually had one good play tonight. ONE. And that's when he played the man instead of the puck. Most of the time he looks like a hot, fumbling mess who freaks whenever the puck comes near him. Larsson has his issues but he keeps his wits about him most of the time.
This thread is about the 2015 draft and you guys have managed to derail it in 7 posts. Congrats.
Every non-playoff team has a shot for the #1 pick but they didn't reconfigure the odds until next year. Interestingly I think the Sabres are way better than last year - they will have some competition for the bottom spot overall, someone like the Flyers or Flames could end up there for sure.
The Flyers? I don't think they'll be anywhere near the bottom.
They will be in high demand even as second tier targets by teams that don't want or can't afford the top tier. Plus all those guys are not significant upgrades over Ryder or some of our other forwards. They are yet again short term fill ins.
They're both significant upgrades over Ryder considering they are both two way forwards.
I know everyone wants a forward but I'm intrigued by the tall Swedish defenseman Marcus Petterson. He sounds like he just needs a few summers locked in a weight room to become a good 2nd pairing defenseman. According to the hockey news, he played this year at 6'-3" 161 lbs.
