#1268271 Embellishment in the NHL

How about this idea: NHL players should put on their big boy shorts and stop playing like a bunch of MLS or NBA pussies.

#1264315 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs thread

I'm all in for the Ducks to take it all. I've always liked Getzlaf and Perry and it would be a great story for Gibson.

But Christie is only getting criticized in these types of threads because he is so vocal in his support of the Rangers. Are you saying that the only people that are bothered by it are those who are against him politically? I don't believe that to be true.

Christine Todd Whitman, another Republican, was very visible in her support of the Devils in all of her years in office and even afterward. I don't remember anyone ever asking her who she supported before there was a Devils team. It obviously couldn't have been the Devils.

Hell, we had people in these threads criticizing Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes for showing up at the Yankees Stadium game wearing Rangers jerseys.

So the moral of this story is everyone can go fvck themselves.

#1263143 Do you think we could get Joe Thorton?

I would die to get Couture

Then you'd never get to see him play for the Devils.

#1259539 In a Season of Problems, Brodeur was the Biggest

Posted by CarpathianForest on 08 April 2014 - 06:44 PM

This Blame-Marty is non-sense.

What killed us this year were (in order):

1. Our inability to score in shootouts. if we were 50% W, we'd be in the playoffs and this thread would not exist.

2. Our inability to score 5-5. Shut out too many times and we can't score even on backups and the other teams know it. (Blame Lou for having old scorers that can't score)

3. Our inability (blame the coach) to protect 3rd period and 2 goal leads. How many times do I have to see Zidlicy pinching down while we are up 3-1 or Jagr taking late 3rd period lazy shifts when we have the lead?

Mucho importante!

Recall the beginning of the season with those leads on Edmonton, Van, Calgary etc. Add to that the countless dreaded 3-1 leads we blew against for example, NYR and FLA.

#1215309 GDT: Game 4 Devils @ Canucks 10pm MSG+

This team could very well be competing for the division if the defense gets addressed. They have the goaltending and offense to do it.

Perhaps you'd feel differently if Kenneth could finally, after all these years, answer one simple question:  What is the frequency?

(Right.  I'll show myself out.   :()

Haha! Dan Rather inspired REM songs!

Jágrův change? Hottest variant are truly Devils

It seems that the denouement near future Jaromir Jagr may have, as we reported yesterday iSport.cz server, the name of the New Jersey Devils. It is to this club aimed clues and resources daily Sport. According to one of them yesterday Czech veteran was actually personally inspect Prudential Center, the home club hall in which it operates and other Czech icon - Patrik Elias. The agreement could occur in the next few hours or days.

Jaromir Jagr, New Jersey Devils. Perhaps over time this connection will actually be a reality. The fact that he was yesterday inspect star striker hall in which the club plays on Twitter speculated yesterday. Someone striker spotted as in the bowels passes accompanied by Lou Lamoriello, general manager.

And according to the information daily Sport yesterday Jagr really was in New Jersey. Then he flew back to the other place in America, where they spend a short holiday before returning to the Czech Republic.

The fact that Jagr was directly okouknout to new premises in which it myself while playing as a guest several times, does not necessarily mean a definitive agreement. Yet precisely Devils are now the favorite. A really hot one option.

In the game there are other teams around New York City. Rangers and Philadelphia also nearby. Nevertheless, the Devils now lead the imaginary scale.

"I'm very curious to see what happens," said the striker Patrik Elias, New Jersey symbol. He has been active in the club since 1995. The Devils still plays defender Marek Zidlicky.

Devils come into consideration especially because they have more available funds, will necessarily hustling compensation for fugitive scorer Ilja Kovalchuk, who has decided to leave to St. Petersburg.

"Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do."

Has anyone checked in on Otty Ott Sauce? He has absolutely nothing to write now. He is the biggest victim of this whole affair.
