#1215309 GDT: Game 4 Devils @ Canucks 10pm MSG+

This team could very well be competing for the division if the defense gets addressed. They have the goaltending and offense to do it.

Perhaps you'd feel differently if Kenneth could finally, after all these years, answer one simple question:  What is the frequency?

(Right.  I'll show myself out.   :()

Haha! Dan Rather inspired REM songs!

#1204224 RUMOR Jagr interested in Devils

Posted by CarpathianForest on 19 July 2013 - 10:08 AM

Jágrův change? Hottest variant are truly Devils

It seems that the denouement near future Jaromir Jagr may have, as we reported yesterday iSport.cz server, the name of the New Jersey Devils. It is to this club aimed clues and resources daily Sport. According to one of them yesterday Czech veteran was actually personally inspect Prudential Center, the home club hall in which it operates and other Czech icon - Patrik Elias. The agreement could occur in the next few hours or days.

Jaromir Jagr, New Jersey Devils. Perhaps over time this connection will actually be a reality. The fact that he was yesterday inspect star striker hall in which the club plays on Twitter speculated yesterday. Someone striker spotted as in the bowels passes accompanied by Lou Lamoriello, general manager.

And according to the information daily Sport yesterday Jagr really was in New Jersey. Then he flew back to the other place in America, where they spend a short holiday before returning to the Czech Republic.

The fact that Jagr was directly okouknout to new premises in which it myself while playing as a guest several times, does not necessarily mean a definitive agreement. Yet precisely Devils are now the favorite. A really hot one option.

In the game there are other teams around New York City. Rangers and Philadelphia also nearby. Nevertheless, the Devils now lead the imaginary scale.

"I'm very curious to see what happens," said the striker Patrik Elias, New Jersey symbol. He has been active in the club since 1995. The Devils still plays defender Marek Zidlicky.

Devils come into consideration especially because they have more available funds, will necessarily hustling compensation for fugitive scorer Ilja Kovalchuk, who has decided to leave to St. Petersburg.

"Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot. What? Taxes, they'll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do."

#1203499 Kovalchuk Retired Effective Immediately?

Has anyone checked in on Otty Ott Sauce? He has absolutely nothing to write now. He is the biggest victim of this whole affair.

#1203379 [Official] Damien Brunner signed to multi-year deal

Posted by CarpathianForest on 14 July 2013 - 07:19 PM

No one in the media thinks Elias is a top line player when in fact he is. He just decided to spend his career with a small market team instead of the fame and fortune. He and Shane Doan are ridiculously under-rated because of that.

BTW, Clowe is a beast! I just got one of his game worn Sharks jersey and it's huge!

Wow big day tomorrow for the Devils. We're signing Brunner, Raymond, Gerbe, Phaneuf, Vanek, Jagr, Chris Stewart, Crosby, Ovechkin, Malkin, Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Pierre Luc-Leblond!

Looks like Nick Barlotta got a promo copy of NHL14 and is making deals.

#1202390 The "Now That We've Had Time To Digest This Thread"

Posted by CarpathianForest on 11 July 2013 - 08:33 PM

Yeah yeah yeah it's a blessing

Truth is, this team is now without a star player, and, while it sounds lame, the honest truth is that stars put butts in the seats.

I'm truly dreading seeing 12k people in the arena during a Thursday night game in December if the team gets off to a predictably slow start.

Blue Jackets put butts in seats with Rick Nash, but they're better off without him and are going to get even more butts in seats now that they're competitive. Even with Kovalchuk, no one showed up to Thrashers games.

Bottom line: People will show up if you put a good product out on the ice.

#1202327 Kovalchuk Retired Effective Immediately?

Posted by CarpathianForest on 11 July 2013 - 07:37 PM

At first when I heard Kovy retired I was shocked and bummed, but I'm not mad or anything. I'm a fan of this team because I was born in Jersey and I had to always hear from my relatives that New Jersey was New York's garbage dump and how the state was lesser. I'm not a fan because of the player, I' a fan because of the team that is a three time cup winner despite being the red headed step child of the NHL.
