Topics I've Started

10 years ago today the NHL create 30 alternate universes

22 July 2015 - 03:10 PM

More specifically the NHL ended the 04-05 lockout and did a lottery for the first overall pick. Somewhere out there a universe exists where Crosby was on the 08-09 Devils team (ignoring cap issues I know)

So who's left as a UFA?

07 July 2015 - 09:35 AM

Anyone of anything that the Devils should take a flier on or is it just interchangeable pieces or pieces that wouldn't help at this stage of forward rebuild?

Finish this sentence: When the 6th pick comes up the Devils will...

23 June 2015 - 12:32 PM

Are you finishing on what you want to happen realistically or what you think the Devils will do?

My sympathy goes out to Coyotes fans

11 June 2015 - 12:14 PM

I'll always defend the Coyotes because f***ing Canadians hockey elitist and the hockey media at large always pick on them. They aren't very good and everyone complains they aren't drawing well... LIKE EVERY OTHER f***ING TEAM IN EXISTENCE. The Bruins didn't sell out playoff games, the Dead Wins era and the Dollar Bill Wirtz Hawks weren't drawing anything either so let's move them all. Then the few seasons they have a really good team they have this threat of moving overnight like the Colts did to Baltimore every off season. How they hell is a team supposed to build up a season ticket base or fan excitement if no one knows if they'll be a season?

Now was it always going to fail? Who the hell knows but it never got a fair shake and now this while the jackasses will exclaim their elitism and how hockey in places that can't make ice naturally is somehow an abomination to the unseen hand. its probably dead now but it was never given a fair chance and under those circumstances most markets would have failed.

So are we going to ask for compensation for DeBoer?

28 May 2015 - 02:55 PM

Or is this like Ray Shero where we just want the contract off the books? Also this new way of compensation of coaches is incredibly stupid. It was clearly a way to kowtow to Detroit who knew they were going to lose their coach. The league has bent over backwards lately for Detroit.
