In Topic: Would you trade Adam Larsson...

I'd be really mad if we sent Larsson over there and all we got in return was Arcobello. I would also argue that Brunner's D isn't the only reason he hasn't been in the lineup.

Sucks because I really like Larsson, but if he could help get Yakupov over here, it might make sense for both sides. I know it has only been five games, but I'm still pretty surprised that it doesn't look like he'll be getting in a game any time soon.

It's really too bad that all of these guys are forced to prove themselves at the same time. None of them have much trade value right now, but it would suck to lose any of Severson, Larsson, Gelinas, or Merrill. I really hope they can find a way to make it work, but I'd be pretty pissed if I were Larsson.

I'd be thrilled with a win tonight. I don't exactly expect it, but with NJ's depth, it may be more likely than we think.

I definitely would like to see them experiment with the lines a bit more. Maybe if Zubrus begins to drag that line down significantly, they can put Clowe in his spot, and then move Brunner to the Henrique line.

Cammalleri-Zajac-Jagr

Havlat-Elias-Clowe

Brunner-Henrique-Ryder

Ruutu-Zubrus-Tootoo

Is the Jagr line untouchable?

I was always under the impression that Gudbranson was another guy like Larsson who wasn't reaching the potential that everyone had hoped for early in his career.

On another note, nobody would have thought that Brodin would be getting a long term deal before Larsson back on draft day 2011. It's interesting how the guy who seemed to be far and away the best defenseman in the draft class is having trouble getting games in the NHL, while several of the other first rounders aren't.
