#1244841 GDT- Devils vs CAPITALS

Posted by '7' on 08 February 2014 - 10:30 PM

It's a disgrace these diving ++++s were able to win this game (they're Carolina level bad. 2 Devils penalties should've been Caps dives earlier)

the first goal was a bad one. But they just couldn't do anything offensively all night. Sick of this garbage.

#1243349 Fire DeBoer Thread

Posted by '7' on 01 February 2014 - 02:32 PM

All I'll say is this

Plenty of Devils coaches have done better and still gotten canned. It is odd how Lou has stuck with Deboer when Robinson and Julien got fired for reasons most of us still don't understand.

He did have the Cup run...but he's also likely going to miss the playoff consecutive years

#1222503 GDT: Charlestown Chiefs @ New Jersey Devils 7PM

Posted by '7' on 03 November 2013 - 10:30 PM

Flyers only had to try 30% of the time since we pretty much only had 3-4 good shifts all night and maybe 4 scoring chances. They played this game with the urgency of pre season hockey. They should've been fresh and ready to go, instead they were apathetic and indifferent. Sands in the hourglass are getting short for Deboer.

I realize guys were out of the lineup. But Philly has guys out as well. No excuse. When the effort isn't there it's on the coach.

And it won't get easier tomorrow in Minnesota. Minnesota actually plays hard most of the game. Devils will likely lose 5-0 or something

Only off by 1!

#1219596 Devils getting rid of R&R part 2 as their goal song?

Posted by '7' on 24 October 2013 - 10:35 PM

Oh they definitely got marching orders...they wouldn't chant 'WE ARE...JERSEY!' on their own volition   Kinda sad really, me and Zubie#8 were making puppet jokes about it.

The WE ARE....JERSEY stuff was cringe worthy. I know that's a slogan on the Devils intro video but it just sounds too contrived and a rip off of one of the college chants (is it We Are Penn State?) I don't see it ever becoming a thing.

#1201964 What. The. F***

Posted by '7' on 11 July 2013 - 04:09 PM

Oh he's going to play somewhere else. Nobody leaves close to 80 mil on the table

fvck him. Kovy is a ++++ who knows no pride or honor. All the rumors were true, he wanted to stay in Russia the whole time. We were just in denial about it.

He also did every honest Russian NHL player a grave disservice. Now they're all going to be looked at like potential Kovalchuks who just high tail it at any moment.

Also, fvck the NHL. Another pointless lockout, the KHL rolls out the red carpet for a favorite son and surprise surprise...HE LIKES IT AND WANTS TO STAY. Now the league loses one of its more exciting and dynamic players.

#1198174 2013 NHL Draft

Posted by '7' on 30 June 2013 - 03:01 PM

I think I'm fine getting a guy who's thrown up save %'s of

.929

.937

.927

and 9 shutouts in his last 80 starts

this is a move that needed to be made

#1193107 2012-2013 NHL Playoffs

Posted by '7' on 25 May 2013 - 08:52 PM

I like this Boston team and the coach. The GM has done a terrific job building a competitive hockey team.

King Henrik is outstanding so far in game. Rask was a great find for the Bruins.

Did you really call him "K*ng"? This isnt a Raggots board. We hate his fvcking guts.

#1188244 Poll: New Jersey eliminated, who are you rooting for in the playoffs?

Posted by '7' on 22 April 2013 - 02:14 PM

Isles I suppose. To piss off the Rag fans

#1185160 Elias about Lou's free agents approach

Posted by '7' on 10 April 2013 - 09:09 AM

I think we have to credit Vanderbeek going over Lou's head for Kovalchuk. And thank god he did.

#1184898 Official 2013 New York Mets Thread

Posted by '7' on 08 April 2013 - 09:04 PM

I know it didn't really matter much, but Ike's swing in the top of the 9th inning with men on base was just embarrassing.

Always nice to walk into Philly and beat those bastards

#1177005 Cryptic info which came with next season's ticket info

Posted by '7' on 08 March 2013 - 06:54 PM

We need to find out if this has been printed in previous years and we just haven't noticed it...or is printed on all teams tickets...in case arena difficulties force a change of venue, not necessarily a winter classic.

#1171248 So what do you think about the shootout?

Posted by '7' on 15 February 2013 - 06:41 PM

It's extremely boring. Just a lame skills competition.

The hockey game ends in a tie. Then a whole new 1 on 1 sport is played for 3 minutes and a team is given an extra point for no reason.

A shootout result is in no way intertwined with the result of a hockey game. Absolutely nothing is decided as a result of a shootout winner

#1165454 Evan Roberts Is Awesome

Posted by '7' on 23 January 2013 - 02:01 PM

When Rag fans use the attendance argument, you know things are becoming unglued. That's basically the only thing they had to use against us in the late 90's early 2000's. And even that argument can be poked full of holes. Remember when the Isles got a little better in the early 90's...you saw tons of Islander fans at the Garden. Remember 1993 when Turgeon eliminated the Rags. VERY AUDIBLE Islander fan reaction this idea that they have some sort of "tradition" (thinnest of the original 6 btw) and amazing fan base is simply untrue. They're not on the Leafs or Habs level. I'm betting Chicago and Detroit probably have a more knowledgeable core of die hards in the midwest. NYR is still too many elitist fair weather suits

The Devils fan base right now is about as loud, large, and passionate as it's ever been. And we did sell out opening night. So maybe they're starting to feel a bit threatened with the amount of noise our fan base is beginning to make. Maybe they feel encroached upon. But they still draw upon the same old tired arguments "Devils-Rainjizz in Jersey? bah haff da crowd is Rainja fanz!"

It hasn't been 1/2 Ranger fans since 1993.
