#1177051 RUMOR: Devils interested in Dany Heatley?

Posted by puckrock on 08 March 2013 - 10:32 PM

I just don't get why anyone would take anything from Єklund (2.3% accurate), HockeyInsiderr, Incarcerated Bob, etc. seriously and then feel the need to spam it all over the board

Fairly certain I put "RUMOR" in the thread title.

It's a discussion board. If you don't want to talk or read about it, then don't click on it.

#1141709 Should the New Jersey Devils Consider Going After Alexander Semin?

The fact that Semin can score from outside the hash marks should be reason enough to go get him.

Thought I'd share this with the board -- got Elias' shootout winner from last night. Taken with an iPhone, mind the quality. What a finish last night!

#984713 Isles put screws to Nabokov with suspension

Posted by puckrock on 27 January 2011 - 10:29 AM

The Islanders were foolish to think that if they claimed him he would just show up, they should have passed over him like everyone else should have. This would have happend if any other team had claimed him as well i suspect.

Exactly. It was highly publicized that Nabokov had already signed a contract with the Red Wings. Now, bearing that in mind, it doesn't matter how great of an addition to your team you feel he could be, it's obvious he has already made a decision on his future. The respectful thing for any GM to do in that instance is just let him go through waivers and sign with Detroit. I don't think he would have reported to any of the other teams regardless of their position in the standings. Kind of a bush-league move by Snow.
