#1219852 Devils getting rid of R&R part 2 as their goal song?

To be honest, I'm not offended by the chant, but I do find it embarassing.  It seems pretty bush to me.

#1202213 Kovalchuk Retired Effective Immediately?

Posted by jerseysteve on 11 July 2013 - 06:25 PM

Wow, I came here to share my fan grief with other fans, but I'm stunned by what I'm reading. Some are actually wishing a plane crash, or death??? Wtf people. It's a GAME. The fact that everyone is pissed answers the question whether or not he performed with us. He is an elite player, for sure, but life moves on. Be grateful we have one of the best gms in all of sports. We'll be alright. For those wishing death, I'd suggest you get help. It's embarrassing to read comments like that from Devils fans.

#1188408 Trenton Titans to cease operations for 2013-14 (Not Folding)

Posted by jerseysteve on 23 April 2013 - 10:10 AM

The arena is located off South Broad St. in Trenton.  The crime rate in this city is out of control, and this isn't exactly the safest part of the city.  You may point to the Yankees farm team's success, but we're talking apples and orages.  The Yankee team, The Thunder, do not play in the city per se.  The area by the ballpark is well lit, and away from the trappings of the city.  On game day, there are cops everywhere.  The Titans rely on people from the surrounding areas (East/West Windsor, Princeton, Lawrence etc) for support.  That isn't going to happen as long as Trenton remains as is.  Further, for just a little more money, you can hop a train from anywhere in Mercer County, and watch the Devils in Newark.  I've gone to 4 Devs games this season, had excellent seats, some  food and drink all for under $100/game (Tix from Stub Hub).
