1. Our PP has to get going
2. If we win game 5, the pressure will really be on LA, and they have not had to face pressure or adversity all playoffs long. They were 15-2 coming into last night’s game. That ridiculous record has to come back down to earth.
3. Tallinder is a huge difference for us back there
4. Kovy’s back will improve in the two days off we have here
Also, email NBC and tell them to mike our crowd like they do every other team. The rock will be rocking
I'll try to make this the last time I say this the rest of the regular season cuz I'm probably gonna sound like a stuck record: the officiating this season has been HORRIBLE. Countless obvious infractions are not called per game. Instead, it seems to be random calls from the refs.
Teddy deserves a chance with the top two lines. He's been playing well and showing promise holding onto the puck well. Put him with Elias and that can be an interesting combo. There's only so much Teddy can do with Ryan Carter.
Kovy was horrible tonight outside of the first period. The guy just stands in one spot and watches Parise/Henrique hustle their asses off. Everyone in the building knows hes just waiting to get off a one timer from the top of the circle so why doesnt he just move around, get in on the forecheck, use his backhand, drive the net, etc...
Let's see if you're still saying this after the next few games when the refs REALLY 'tax' us with calls against because of it. He embarassed the refs, there almost certainly is going to be payback, consciously or subconsciously.
They really taxed us with bs calls tonight. Pens got away w everything. What are they gona do now? Call more bs? No difference
