I'll be there in King country tonight. Since it cost more than most peoples' car payments, I'd appreciate a win.

Rupp is a no talent dick who is still bitter with the Devils for cutting his terrible ass.
And he's the perfect cypher for a John Tortorella team: a combination of no offensive ability andl bush league tactics.
Edited to add: The NHL should punish the Rangers for Rupp's sucker punch by making him play on Wedmesday. More minutes, if at all possible.

Will the Rangers even be able to make it to the game on Saturday? I'm worried they're all still stuck in their own end crowded around that Swedish sofabed.

Nah, that's from the announcement of the opening lineup.

I won't boo him, but this team was severely hurt by his departure. It's great, I love him, I have his jersey, I just don't think it should be retired.

Nieds was awesome, again, but not a retiree. He willingly departed the Devils who were ready to make him the highest paid player on the roster. Thanks for the rings, Nieds, and I love you, but when you went to Anaheim, you should have sacrificed any chance at getting your jersey in the rafters. Are we going to retire the jersey of every great player that spends substantial time in NJ? That, to me, is something the Rangers do. Not us.

Tortorella's a jackass, but at least he's a real NHL coach. MacLean is clearly not an NHL coach. It was as obvious as day to those just watching the games, nevermind what it must have been to those behind the scenes.

If I sucked at my job the way Brian Rolston does, I wouldn't be making 2.5 million dollars in Albany, I'd be living in my Mom's basement.
Yeah, it's really degrading being a multi-millionaire who plays professional hockey for a living. Rolston robbed this team so bad he should come out on the ice ever night with a ski-mask.
Good fvcking riddance.
Next up, Jamie Langenbrunner.
