How many presently active, not on IR, first line players do the Devils have? I say one Elias.

How many did we have last season? I say three, Elias, Kovy and Parise.

How many presently active 2nd line players do the Devils have? I say NONE, maybe Zajac.

Most Devils players are 3rd, 4th or don't belong in the NHL players.

It's hard to have scoring without line chemistry and it's hard to have line chemistry without equal talent.

That's why Zajac is struggling no line chemistry with and without Kovy because no other line partner with same or better talent like Parise.

So compare 2011/12 with 2012/13 No Parise and Kovy out on IR it's hard to be offensive. Sullivan makes up some of Kovy's minutes. No one makes up for Kovy's distraction.

Why should they be cup finalists? They actually belong where they are with two 40 year old goalies and one that was on the IR.

Why should they be in the playoffs?

DeBoer hasn't and doesn't have the talent to work with.

Just my opinion.

Marty has shown us what he can do since coming back and he is rough at times. He should be able to keep us in the game with only 30 seconds to go. Lets play Hedberg against the Isles.

If the Devils beat the Flyers in both back to back games is Philly  done? What if the Flyers beat the Devils back to back are the Devils done?

I think we will win both games because we know how important these two games are. Worse case we split. Flyers beating the Devils in both game isn't happening.

Show Hedberg some respect.

Lou knew about Marty's back problem and covered it up as day to day. Lou did nothing but put Hedberg in this position of playing every day. Lou doesn't want his rookie goalie to have the pressure of starting a game that is important for fear of fan abuse of the future goalie.

Hedberg was signed and paid as a backup goalie but because of the tight schedule and Marty's back, he is playing almost every day. He is tired, he is 39 years old and was cheap for the Devils. The defense has played poorly in front of him and he can't control that, ask Stevens about the poor defense. The offense can't score goals neither can Hedberg, get on their arse not his

Where is Hedberg's buddy Marty defending him in the press, no where to be read but Marty loves the "We need Marty position."

We went to the playoff last season because of Hedberg, so show him  the respect.

The problems this Devils team have are all on Lou, not Hedberg. Is Kovy's back sore? Why is Kovy being double shifted? What has Kovy done while being double shifted? NOTHING. Where are the replacement goals from those players that left?  We have Devils players playing that don't belong in the NHL but Lou is cheap. Poni is a bust. Butler is a waste. Gionta is a joke. The biggest joke of all is Janssen.

Be fair to Hedberg!!! Be objective and give him a break and thank him for abusing his body for the Devils team.

I hope we win because everyone else on the team does their job including the coaches.

The goalies have problems! The defense is weak and getting weaker. The PP is terrible !  The PK isn't working ! Lou thinks Janssen is a saviour ! The offense is weak and getting weaker !

So who gets fired? We are half way into this season 23 of 48 games.

Don't use the excuse Mary has back problems !

The minor coaches, Terreri, Stevens, Bare and Shaw. should they be fired? I don't think so.

DeBoer, I don't think so he hasn't had the talent to overcome the issues.

Lou in a heart beat he has missed judged the talent and combinations for chemistry.
