You answered your own question -- because idiotic, false, factually unsupported statements like this keep being made.

<JESTER>

Ok, you want facts. The Devils play in the most densely populated area in the country. They also play in an area that has one of the highest per capita incomes and most disposbale income in the country. They put a succesful team on the ice every year, and yet they are at or near the bottom of the league in attendance every year. Why is that? According to you there are tons of Devils fans, and yet they don't sell out playoff games. Let me here your briliant rebuttle. Let me guess; ticket prices, blah, blah, blah, parking, blah, blah, blah, traffic, blah, blah, blah, meia bias, blah, blah, blah.

Two games in the entire second round of the playoffs didn't sell out; they were both at the CAA. Most arenas in the league have traffic and parking issues and all playoff tickets are expensive. They're just aren't that many Devils fans, period. That doesn't make the people that do follow the team bad fans. If you enjoy going to the games, why do you care what anyone else says about attendance?

Not selling out a weekend playoff game really isn't anything to be crowing about.

Brodeur is pointing the finger at his teammates waaaaaaay too much this series. Game three is on him, with an assist to an idiotic penalty by Langenbrunner.

I like Jamie, but I'd rather Lou use the money to keep Elias and Gomez. Bring up some young talent, maybe pick up a UFA bonafide scorer :pray: or at least a promising young gun.

Amen. Please let this season signal the end of the $2 million role players.
