  1. This win gives me more hope than anything else this year. To Devils team: Fuq the draft. Win everything you can. I don't care if we miss playoffs by one point, do everything you can to win. Acceptance of losing ends in January 1 2020.

  2. I guess that’s valid. Hard to believe when you look at the guys on the ice, but I guess they’re coming, in theory. So you’re saying...almost?

  3. 5-2-1 without Hall. Playing the puck into the right areas, cycling, getting screens, and developing some good chemistry.

  4. Just got back from Newark. Considering how we played and who we beat, that was the best game of the season.

  5. Paywall Athletic article on Bahl. Seems like his coaches really love this kid and interesting to know that he's been thrown out against the top players in the OHL since he was an OHL rookie. A few quotes for those without The Athletic. "He’s very, very mobile for a big guy. One of the keys to Kevin is moving his feet. If someone was to criticize his skating, it would be about moving his feet rather than speed or mobility. The biggest improvement in his game over the last few years that’s glaring for me is his gap control, or his ability to adjust his speed in the neutral zone. He’s able to match the speed of the opposing forward and then with his stick and his wingspan, he’s able top force attacking forwards into positions where they don’t want to be." from his 67's coach. From Bahl: "My whole career I’ve been playing against top guys, and I love to play against top guys. I want to know that I’ve shut down a guy when my team wins by a goal. I think they really like that and I take that to heart when I have to play against those guys. That’s my thing.”

  6. So lately I have been seeing a lot of all-decade lists on social media. I decided to make three on here for just fun. They are your favorite players, your least favorite players, and most talented players. The most and least favorite can be for any reason under the sun. The most talented list is something I think should be a little more objective, but again you can have your own opinion. Not looking for fights, but just seeing what everyone else thinks. Also, I am not going to split hairs on the date part. Most of the lists I have seen consider 2010-2019 as the timeframe for their decade list so I will go with that. Here are mine: Most favorite players: 1) Elias 2) Greene 3) Palmieri 4) Hischier 5) Hall 6) Vatanen 7) Kovy 8. Parise 9) Coleman 10) Zajac Least favorite players: 1) Kinkaid 2) Tootoo 3) Farnham 4) Wood 5) Gelinas 6) Mueller 7) S. Gionta 8. Rooney 9) Clarkson 10) Boucher Most Talented Players 1) Kovy 2) Hall 3) Parise 4) Elias 5) Palmieri 6) Hischier 7) Vatanen 8. Jagr 9) Henrique 10) Hughes

  7. Yeah I’d actually look to keep Vatanen, if the deal is right. I really don’t wanna think about how bad this blue line would look without him.

  8. I don’t know what’s better, that it’s less than 3 minutes in, or that he had to walk a half mile to get to the locker room.

  9. My brother-in-law is a big Preds fan, and they went to Dallas for the game. He actually just texted my wife a picture of the Cup, which apparently is in attendance lol

  10. I find it very hard to believe Wayne Simmonds is regularly outperforming Jack Hughes at shootouts in practice or otherwise.

  11. Devils looking better for sure post Taylor Hall. Took a while but that chemistry is starting to gel

  12. Well Rask is clearly a bad influence on Halak lol

  13. Blackwood was fantastic in that shootout. The whole team played great in the 3rd Period. They really deserved to win that in regulation. Nice to see Severson get that shootout goal after the last ot game at home. Also really glad that Hughes is ok, that looked worrisome there for a bit.

  14. If there were players coming through who could replace him you could understand trading him but there isn't. Anyone who gets traded is going to have to be replaced through free agency or trades and there's no gurantee you can do either. Better the Devil you know so Shero should try to sign him imo.

  15. well its just making sense and i touched on it before. When you start the season knowing your top player and your leader potentially has a foot out the door it's certainly going to have an impact on the room. Hearing the rumours, seeing him being affected, it's certainly creating a cloud over the team. Kind of like going on a family trip to Disney as a kid knowing your dad is considering leaving your mom. It will affect the overall dynamic of the family no matter what lol

  16. Playing against Bratt-Hischier-Palms was just not fun for any Bruin today. Including Patrice Bergeron. That line is a thing.

  22. Lots of teams around that playoff line too. They are easily gonna miss the playoffs if they keep this up.

  23. So Hall scores the Yotes’ first goal last night, and his team takes a 2-0 lead into the third...at which point they proceed to give up four straight unanswered goals en route to a 4-2 loss and a 2-4-0 record since acquiring him. Taylor’s probably starting to feel like he never left...

  25. And Pavel Zacha is his 2nd favorite player of the decade to boot...

  26. The one re-vision I would make to my list is Schneider tied at #10 for my most favorite and probably either 9 or 10 on most talented. Before his injury he really was a top 5 goalie in the league. He also took way more sh!t from a sizeable portion of our fanbase than he ever deserved simply because of whom he followed.
