It definitely has the feel of a season that's just not...destined to happen. So many red flags going into it, and things just keep spiraling. Keep snowballing. I'm wondering if MLB will just be better off cancelling the season as soon as possible before a players gets REALLY really sick. They are playing with fire here

MLB handled COVID just about as piss poorly as the entire state of Florida. Funny how focusing on the money and doing nothing about preventative measures until the train was already rolling was a bad approach. What a freaking joke. NWSL, MLS, NBA and NHL all have had zero positive cases in their most recent rounds of testing. EDIT: Just read they knew they had positive cases during the series and still kept playing, including yesterday's game. The Marlins should be heavily fined and beyond, what a bunch of arrogant fvcks. EDIT 2: A lot of panic that the MLB season will now be cancelled. Again, goddamn I love the NHL for actually thinking "hmmmm maybe we need to make sure people are healthy and once we prove they were, throw them in a fvcking bubble if we really care about the game..." instead of "but what about our money?" as the only point

While I think the Vegas logo coulda been better and incorporated hidden hockey sticks, it ain't bad. And I think the Kraken sounds badass and that's a great start! The S is clever the way it is a tentacle splitting the S, and the space needle on the anchors captures their big draw... Besides rain and Starbucks and hippies. I see a second logo with a mean sea beast in their future. Better then the salmons! Or the sockeyes! You think that wouldn't have become the Load Socks!?!? I want to see what happens with the NBA and NHL first, there's been almost no new cases in both bubbles. But there's no way any sports should be playing outside of a bubble and that means the NFL too.

The MLB plan of relying on professional athletes to behave themselves is their biggest mistake. There was a guy who was granted permission from the NBA to leave the bubble to attend a funeral and was caught in a strip club lol The MLB not being proactive and cancelling the game beforehand was silly. They could have maybe got a jump on this beforehand instead of rolling the dice and hoping not to infect more players and possibly the Phillies too.

I mean... it's totally fine not to love a logo or a name because it doesn't fit with your personal taste. It's something else to say it's technically bad though. For what its worth. I do graphic design for a living so i feel my opinion is at least.... considerable.... on that subject... the LV and Kraken logos are fine logos. The V mi the helmet works well, it's simple and clean. The Kraken logo same thing with the S and i love the space needle anchor shoulder logo.

I just hope the NHL doesn’t cave to this BLM bvullsh!t like the other pandering leagues have.
