Not yet, but the last 2 years have closed the gap. For his time, Lemieux was huge at 6' 4" and 220 pounds so he had a big physical advantage & reach so he was dominant among his peers . Crosby is like 5' 11" and 200 lbs in an era of large players and many more fantastic defenseman and Crosby is still a great producer. Like Niedermayer, Lemieux just appeard effortless on the ice. For me Lemieux was the greatest physical talent I've seen, yet Gretzky squeezed every drop of his talents to be the greatest.

Brian Boyle should win the Masterton Trophy

Interesting reasons listed for the early winners. I forgot Jagr & Yzerman won this. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Masterton_Memorial_Trophy

Heck, I've just gotten over the LHRB Holik and NeedmyBrother. Parsie's animous still has a few years to go. For Kovy, he did us a favor by leaving. But yeah, it's about the playoffs now

there's not to much top base this on, other than FLA has been so hot playing at a .750 winning percentage over the past 7 weeks & the law of averages theory, so I expect them to cool off at the worst possible time in the last two weeks of the season, which opens the door for the Devs to squeek it out. But its still up to our team and coach

i'm hoping that FLA loses to CBJ on Thursday, plus they have 3 games against BOS, a NSH, and a TOR, so I don't see FLA having an easy schedule. if they get in the playoffs then they will have earned it over the last quarter of the season.

Ugh, I hate having to root for the Flyers tonight against Columbus Either team winning hurts the Devs, but ya know, it's freaking Philly !
