Great move by the Devils organization. This is a tough time for Doc, a great time to give him the recognition he deserves.

I'll be there! 213 for college night. From what I heard about the first college night there was a decent turn out. Added onto the Turn Back the Clock night, it should be pretty packed. For the person who asked, TBC night is a promo the Devils announced around the end of October, in which you could get 2 tickets in the $65 sections ($130 face value) for $40 total for certain games. I think this is the last one, though.

I'll be at work. I think beginning now will be a rough stretch for the Devils, 7 of the next 8 on the road, traveling all across the country. but I hope I am wrong. LETS GO DEVILS!!!

Yeah, I got there around 3 too. Luckily, my friend's family was already in line and got wristbands for us. Plus that Paul guy (for those of you who were there yesterday I'm sure you ALL remember, haha) was cool and got another wristband for our friends who were coming later.

The downfall of mass production. I'm sure these smaller jersey sites don't face as much demand as nhl.com, so they can put more time and effort into their jerseys. NHL.com just throws a bunch together through a machine and throws em in a box, they probably aren't even inspected. If it happened to you twice, I'm sure countless other people who ordered an Elias jersey were screwed as well.

We're playing for first place on Friday. We'll be 2 points behind the Rangers, and tied with the Flyers if we win tonight. The Penguins are in Boston Thursday, and even if they win, they're still 3 points behind us. The Flyers play Friday night in Anaheim. If the Devils win tonight and Friday, they are in first place in the division. Even if the Flyers win. Us, Philly, and NY will all have 49 pts, but the Devils will have won more games than Philly, and will have won the same amount as NY, but with 2 less games played, making us a first place team. For whether it be a day or the next few months, we will see. I just think it's quite a story that a team that was injury-riddled earlier in the season and is missing the best goalie in the world and replaced him with a no-name from the AHL could be in first place in the most competitive division in January.

In the 12/12 game, Mara was checked and he was far from the boards and MSG + showed a slow motion closeup of his reaction going into the boards, he had a gaping screaming expression on his face the whole time haha.

Good way to centralize! And I agree with the out of division games. I went to the Kings game last season on a Saturday at 5:30 and I got $10 seats.

I find it funny how when I was in high school, plows came down the streets like bats out of hell, and I'd obviously be going to school the next day. But when I have tickets to a Devils game, it's 4:30 and not one plow has come by yet. My luck

They did that for the game on Feb 1, too. They set up a line in the PNC tower, then moved us to the ticket booths for the rest of the wait.

I'm not a football fan, but I can't blame people for not going to the game Sunday if they're team has a big game that time. I know the whole Flyers/Devils divisional home game bit, as it is a very big game for the Devils. But it pales in comparison to a game that decides whether the Dolphins, or any team for that matter, is playing football or playing golf in two weeks. If it makes you feel better, if the Devils are in the first round, I'd rather stay home and watch that game than go to the Mets game that day, anyday. It all depends on where you are in the season, the hockey season is a third of the way over. It sounds to me as if you are completely focused in on this Sunday game, and you feel a little abandoned that not everyone is paying the same attention to it.

I tried the same thing last season for around the same circumstances. What they basicially said is, if the players can get here, you can get here too. Which was a NO as far as refund or redeeming goes.

I think rebounds should be allowed. If you take a shot and it rebounds right to you, I think it should be allowed to take another hack at it. Of course there has to be a strict line there, as I wouldn't agree with someone going all the way across the ice to pick up a rebound and shoot again.

I loved how pissed the Rangers were. It's like it's their birthright to beat us. Did you see Gomez on the bench after he scored? He did NOT want to be beaten by the Devils.

It would've been really interesting to see what would've happened if something had happened early in the game where their goalie got hurt or something, and he would've had to go in. I know he's played before, but it could have gotten pretty ugly.

For all the people saying you got there at 9 AM, remember that was a 3 PM game... Anyway, last season I went to get $10 tickets for a Friday night Rangers-Devils game, and I got there around 2-230. We were maybe the 50th people in line or so. The line cut off around 330-4. Keep in mind the weather for that game was terrible, as it's supposed to be tomorrow is it not?

I definitely don't like the fact the Rangers have played six more games than us already. To have that much of a gap inbetween two teams in the same division is unfair IMO.

Merry Christmas, a$$holes. I was in a WalMart today, and people were going nuts. I don't go out to shop on Black Friday, I merely go out to see the asses people are willing to make of themselves. I had to give a police statement today because some guy was assaulting a woman just to grab a 42' inch TV, of which he already had 3 in his possession.
