My kid follows hockey overall more than I do now and he's mentioned the Devils pursuing this guy.

But who's going to score for this team? It seems like almost all of their forwards are "bottom six" players according to the small blurbs I've read. I hope the Rags don't end up with Giordano. I know a few fans who are already thrilled with the prospect of acquiring him for Strome then adding Eichel. And why the fvck would SEA eat some of that salary?

My kid just told me that the Devils traded for Ryan Graves from COL for our 2nd and Maltsev. He was pretty happy about this. I haven't seen anything yet. Wow, 6'5 " 220lbs

Unfortunately I think there’s going to be a few teams who would want Coleman. I read a blurb from Brooks saying he would be a perfect fit for what the rags are trying to do as far as adding grit and skill goes. Not that he’s going there, but I think Coleman’s going to be sought after. I would love him back here.

Dam, he would be a fine pick up for a team like ours that desperately needs a top tier defenseman, if we could get him to sign an extension. Not sure what we'd have to offer to get him. edit: Subban comes of the books after this season so offer him Subban's money plus another mil if it'll keep him here. I think he's only going to be 27 so you can offer him something long term too. I know I'm just dreaming though.

I don't post much but I follow every GDT. Sometimes part of being a fan is the suffering.

If the Devils are making this trade I would rather it was for a promising young defenseman. I know we need forward help but we are really hurting on D, even though I hope we see Bahl, Reilly, and Vukojevic get a chance next season.

They never make it easy. I took a chance and bet $50 the Devils would win outright after the second period since they've played well against BOS. It's like they were doing their best to give my money away. I'm glad I didn't bet it giving 1.5 because god forbid we score another goal. We just play well against BOS this year.

I read about this today and I admit in the most petty way it made me happy. I'm still bitter he left but man that contact is looking bad. Thankfully our bad contract retired and went to Russia. Better them than us.

I love these RR sweaters but I’m partial to teams that use colors other than black. I do understand why the Devils made the change and I had no problem with it, especially since red and white seemed to be our primary colors and black was a secondary color. Except when black is a primary color like the Steelers or Raiders or the Spurs, those I like. I didn’t like when PHI came out with a black sweater and I hated the Buffaslug uniforms and I wasn’t even a fan of the LAK changing their colors but I understood why they did it when they traded for Gretzky. But I also like the old 80s Buccaneers and Patriots and Broncos uniforms as opposed to their newer ones. Especially the Bucs, they had like the Bad News Bears problem where all the other color schemes were taken so they went with what was left. I love the Swashbuckler.

I know you guys are (partly) kidding, but I'm not sure the Rags would be automatic. I wish I could remember the player (it may have even been Eichel), but the idea was that the Rags would have to give up K Miller or Fox, plus Kakko or Lafrenier, and some other goodies. And then they'd have to pay him and I don't think they have a lot of cap room. Hopefully if he gets traded it's out west I also remember reading that LA has the kind of pieces to make a deal work.

I believe the Devils have gotten 5 out of 6 pts against the Bruins so far this season.

I think I'd still rather have Butcher over Tennyson. But he is definitely moving towards being expendable.

And don’t forget the “our team spends no money” people. I know we have the cap room but I like the fact we’re not throwing out dumb contracts. I don’t know of any players the Devils could have signed but didn’t because they were too cheap. I’d like to see that list.

I'd rather draft a forward with 7 and take a chance on a kid like Kaiden Guhle being there at 18. Then grab another forward at 20, maybe Reichel if he's there at 20. I'm just not convinced on taking Sanderson with that 7 pick, assuming Drysdale is gone.

My wife shot me daggers when we watched The Re-Animator. It's one of my favorites but I forgot how that movie ended. I spent the whole ending telling my kids to cover their eyes. I can deal with gore and vulgarity(since they hear that at home anyway) but I'm not cool with sex/nudity. I misfired on that one.

70's and 80's horror flicks generally can't be fvcked with. I think I've seen every one. My friends and I used to go to the Fangoria Fests in NYC in the 80's and we met so many great people: Clive Barker, Angus Scrimm, Jeffrey Combs, Doug Bradley, Kane Hodder, Michael Berryman, and a few others I cant recall. I'll always recommend movies like Death Spa, Redneck Zombies, and Combat Shock, even though that one isn't necessarily horror but it's a Troma film. I watch these movies with my kids all the time. Last year my then seven year old drew me a pic of Michael Myers, Jason, and Freddy that I hung up at work because those are his favorites. Maybe not dad of the year, but they seem to like them.

Halloween was an absolute perfect movie in every way, it could never have been made better. That RZ movie was destined to fail. The other original movies you mentioned were not classics that could not be improved on(although I'd argue about The Hills have Eyes).

I don't hate CAR all that much because they never had players I hated even though they broke my heart a few times. Outside of our natural hatred of the Rags and Flyers, if we're going to hate teams for having certain players, how is it we don't all hate TOR when they had Domi, Roberts, Corson, Tucker, & Belak. Those were brutal playoff series the Devils had against that team of douche bags. I would think that would be the most loathed team.

That's a bummer, only a little older than me. When I first started playing EA Sports Hockey, BUF was my team and he along with Mogilny and Lafontaine were my line. F*** cancer.

Last year I told some rags fans at work this was going to happen if he didn't get traded then around last seasons deadline. Why would a young rebuilding team use a 37 year old goalie as their foundation in goal when they have two valuable prospects that are just coming of age. I didn't see why the rags would ever want to move either one of those guys and keep him. And that fake king should have seen this coming. Fvck him.
