i don't think larsson is getting past COL. he would be my first choice. if not him, i'd like one of the top centers, unless hamilton seems worthy of the 4th..

how have the games in BOS been entertaining?

i'm probably the only one left who still wants him, but i would still like to see corrente play. i think he could at least play the 5/6 and maybe some PK. i'd like to see what robinson and stevens could do to help him. and he didn't really get the chance to play under lemaire. i think it's still too soon to give up on him. and i'd like to see fayne put together a full, solid season before we just annoint him as a top 4.

you must be new to him. he's terrible. he has an admitted and boastful hate of the devils. it's nothing new. i just don't listen to him anymore.

i saw Jane's in October 1988 at either The Rocket or The Living Room in Providence, RI. They opened for The Ramones. I was a freshman in college up that way and one of my friends from LI was a huge Ramones fan so we went. Seeing Jane's open up that show was an almost life altering experience. They were completely unexpected. Nothings Shocking went on to become the album we listened to every day until we left in May, along with Fishbone's Truth and Soul.

how's halischuk doing in NAS? i see he's played 11 games, 3 pts, +1. i thought he was supposed to be nhl ready or close to it and he might have a chance to play down there.

i remember watching a few videos of tulupov and thinking he was going to be another a-train. i forgot all about this kid. i guess lou and conte didn't do that bad for '06, considering they had some lean drafts before this.

it looked like zubrus was a beast today. very nice road win aginst the flyers. glad to se the team playing well.

while i do appreciate everything jamie did for this team, especially '03, it's very hard for me to forget that our captain decided his beef with the coach was more important to him than winning, or even being a leader to this team, during the playoffs, when they would have needed him most. i didn't know this and i was surprised to find out that jamie did not waive his nmc. did he ever give a reason? he had to know if lou came to him with this that it might be in his best interest to look around. unless lou gave him a list of interested teams and he didn't like any of them. i don't know if he's kidding or not, but i like what msweet wrote and pretty much agree with it. i tend to root for the sweater over the player except for a rare few exceptions. jamie was never one of those exceptions to me.

i like the idea of trading down, but not too far down, to get additional picks and a good prospect in this draft unless larsson is available. i like the idea of adding larsson to what is already a pretty solid pool of defensive prospects in our system.

there is no way that sestito should be getting more ice time than tedenby and zharkov at this point. tedenby needs to be playing unless he's hurt. jl can bench him during the game if he doesn't like what he sees but that kid has to be playing.

while i was ok with lemaire finishing this season, this is the kind of stuff he does that makes me happy he won't be coaching here next season. this season is over, it's time to play the kids and see what they can do. hopefully he'll be forced to do this after we've traded some vets.

now i can get my haviland hopes up again this offseason. i think lemaire is the best option for the devils to finish out this season.
