Ducks finally signed Hampus Lindholm - 6 years / $5.25M AAV. That's nearly identical to the deal Ristolainen got, except Lindholm is a much more well-rounded player. Great deal for the Ducks in comparison.

Arizona will play surprisingly tough early but Schneider will make some great saves. The Devils offense will finally "find it" and jump out to a 3-0 lead through 2 periods. Coyotes find the back of the net early in the 3rd only to be answered back by the Devils before the 10 minute mark of the 3rd period. Arizona then manages to find the back of the net with 5-7 minutes left giving us very slight anxiety but the Devils hang on to win 4-2. Book it. LGD.

Will do! I got these tickets free via the Devils app promotion that ran a couple weeks ago. It was my wife's first hockey game ever and suffice to say, she had WAY more fun compared to Mets games we've gone to (she doesn't understand baseball whatsoever but can relate to hockey a little bit since she's familiar with soccer). I was actually surprised on how well she was able to pick up on things... and it doesn't hurt Newark is home to some great, authentic Brazilian restaurants to grab dinner before a game. Definitely will be more games in the near future for us.

For the person above who mentioned ParkWhiz - thanks. Was very easy to find parking last night using the app and buying online ahead of time only cost me $7.50 (I think the lot is called LA Parking Corp). It's basically right next to the Immigration office; easy walking distance to the Rock.

I'd throw this out there and see what happens: Hall-Henrique-Palmieri Cammalleri-Zacha-Parenteau Boucher-Zajac-Bennett Kalinin-Fiddler-DSP Extras: Josefson, Wood (Speers back to juniors) Auvitu has been a definite bright spot among the defensemen and Quincey has been pretty good, too. On the contrary, the Moore-Lovejoy pairing has been downright bad. I think they should be broken up or maybe one sits for Santini (I'd give the benefit of the doubt to Lovejoy). Only problem with the latter is after Greene, Quincey and Lovejoy who is the 4th defenseman you can trust on the PK? And maybe Santini is just a case of the grass isn't always greener. Anyway, those are just some of my thoughts through these first handful of games.

Same here, tickets are in my Apple wallet. Never had an issue using Apple wallet tickets to other events before (Fandango movies / Mets games) so should be fine for Devils games too...

I kept running into an issue with selecting a pair of seats where it was basically saying I needed to find a row where they were at least 4 open seats together. Didn't quite understand that but happy with free tickets and decent seats nonetheless.

Didn't know much about Griffith before looking him up, but was surprised to see he had the 2nd most points in the AHL last season despite playing quite a bit less games compared to the folks around him on the leaderboard. Besides your typical morons on Twitter, I don't think so. I hadn't read any posts in this thread since early yesterday before posting, so I don't know what the feel was here on that (I didn't think anyone would oppose, especially watching this team all year), but just wanted to get that point across since all Mets fans love to get on TC whenever possible (including me), and I'm sure there are Familia bashers out there because they only watched like a few postseason games of his the last 2 years and nothing else. Process was good, result was bad. It was just a case of sh!t Happens, like it is with all sports.
